Also present Tomczyk and Clerk Stewart. were Aldermen DeAngelis, Dumke, Hilt, Patterson, Penovich, Taube, Ald. Taube moved to delete Parks Department requested full-time employee's salary of $11,516. from account #57300-1100 and add a art-time employee's salary ($3.35/hour) of $3,481.00 to account f57300-1100. Seconded by Ald. Patterson, motion carried unanimously. Ald. Patterson moved to delete Varda Alarm in Police Budget in the amount of $2,300. Seconded by Ald. Hilt, mo,tion defeated 1 to 7 with Ald. Patterson voting "yes" and Ald. ,Tomczyk, DeAngelis, Dumke, Hilt, Penovich and Taube voting "no". Ald. Tomczyk moved to approve the addition of a Juvenile Officer in the amount of $22,373 to account C52000-1100 (Police Department salaries). Seconded by Ald. Hilt, motion defeated 2 to 5 with Ald. Tomczyk and Hilt voting "yes1' and Ald. DeAngelis, Dumke, Patterson, Penovich and Taube voting "no". Ald. Patterson moved to reduce account #52000-3311 (Police Department gasoline & oil) from $26,969 to $25,000. Seconded by Ald. Taube, motion carried 6 to 1 with Ald. DeAngelis, Dumke, Hilt, Patterson, Penovich and Taube voting "yes" and Ald. Tomczyk voting "no". Ald. Taube moved to reduce account #52000-5200 (Police Department Maintenanc,e of Building & Grounds) by $771.00 to $2,800. Seconded by Ald. Patterson, motion carried unanimously. Ald. DeAngelis moved to delete one police car from account #52000-3910 (Police Vehicle Replacement). Seconded by Ald. Patterson. The motion carried 4 to 3 with Ald. Tomczyk, DeAngelis, Patterson and Penovich voting "yes" and Ald. Dumke, Hilt and Taube voting "no". Ald. Tomczyk moved to add $9,000 to account #52000-3910 (Police Vehicle Replacement). Seconded by Ald. Hilt. Motion carried 4 to 3 with Ald. Tomczyk, Dumke, Hilt and Patterson voting "yest' and Ald. DeAngelis, Penovich and Taube voting 'lno''. Ald. Taube moved to delete $3,000 from account #52800-2100 (Fees- Professional Services - Planning & Zoning), Seconded by Ald. DeAngelis, motion carried unanimously. Ald. Taube moved to delete $200 from Planning & Zoning account #52800-3613 (conferences & special events). Seconded by Ald. Patterson, motion carried 4 to 3 with Ald. DeAngelis, Patterson, voting ''no''. 0 0 Penovich and Taube voting "yes" and Ald. Tomczyk, Dumke, and Hilt Committee of the Whole - Page 2 October 16, 1985 Ald. Patterson moved to delete $4,400 from account #58300-3212 Taube. Ald. Patterson withdrew his motion from floor with (Contingency) for Senior Co-ordinator position. Seconded by Ald. permission of his second. Ald. Penovich moved to reduce account #58400-3212 by $2,400 (Miscellaneous Supplies & Expenses) Seconded by Ald. Taube, motion carried unanimously. 0 Ald. Taube moved to transfer $100,000. from unappropriated surplus to the 1986 general fund to offset the 1986 Operating Budget. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried unanimously by voice vote. FEDERAL REVENUE 1986 BUDGET The Budget as proposed for the 1986 Federal Revenue Funds in the amount of $84,000 was approved unanimously to be used for general government purposes.
