MINUTES OF MEETING HELD MAY 14, 1985
Called to order in open session by Chairman Salentine at
Nilsson, Penovich, Taube and Tomczyk, Clerk Stewart and Atty,.
7:40 P.M. Also present were Aldermen DeAngelis, Dumke, Hilt,
Molter.
The Mayor opened the meeting by announcing that this was an open
meeting of the Common Council. Notice of this meeting was given
to the public at least 24 hours in advance of the meeting by
forwarding the complete agenda to the official City newspaper,
the Muskego Sun, and to all news media who have requested the
same as well as posting. Copies of the complete agenda were
desiring information as to forthcoming meetings should contact
available for inspection at the City Clerk's office. Anyone
the City Clerk's office.
Penovich moved, Tomczyk seconded, to approve minutes of meetings
held 4/16/85 and 4/23/85. Carried.
COMMITTEE REPORTS
Tomczyk presented minutes of Finance Committee meetings held
5/8/85 and 5/14/85 and moved for approval. Penovich seconded,
carried.
Tomczyk presented minutes of Public Welfare Committee meeting
held 5/2/85 and moved for approval. Taube seconded, carried.
Dumke presented minutes of Public Sewer Committee meeting held
5/9/85 and moved for approval. Penovich seconded, carried.
Tomczyk presented minutes of Public Works Committee meeting held
5/9/85 and moved for adoption. Hilt seconded, carried.
Minutes of Plan Commission meeting held 5/7/85 received and
placed on file.

) Muskego (Klenz - RS-1 to RS-3). Second Reading. Nilsson moved
for adoption. Hilt seconded, carried unanimously.
Ord.1/528 - An Ordinance to Amend Chapter 7, Section 7.01 of the
Municipal Code of the City of Muskego (Traffic Code) Second
Reading. Tomczyk moved for adoption. Dumke seconded, carried
unanimously.
Ord.11529 - An Ordinance to Amend Chapter 8, Section 8.02 (3) of
the Municipal Code (Ditch Bond & Street Bond Inspection Fee).
Second Reading. DeAngelis moved for adoption. Taube seconded,

NEW BUSINESS
Reso.162-85 - Denial of Rezoning Request from RS-2 (OLR) to B-2
(S. Krzman). Nilsson moved for adoption. Penovich seconded.
Krzman advised of possibility of zoning amendment to permit
multi-family use by conditional use grant in an OLR. Carried
unanimously.
Reso.177-85 - Authorizing Execution of Assignment of Franchise as
Collateral Security (Ingersoll Cable Corporation). Hilt moved
for adoption. Tomczyk seconded. Dumke moved, Nilsson seconded,
to amend to add the following after "does hereby": ... consent
to Ingersoll Cable Corporation executing the attached "Assignment
of Franchises as Collateral Security". However, the City by so
agreements with Ingersoll Cable Corporation and applicable laws
consenting does not waive any of its rights under the applicable
and ordinances." Motion carried. Reso.#77-85 As Amended adopted
unanimously.

to Amend the Zoning District Map (J. D. Warden - RCE to RCE (OIP)
Nilsson moved for adoption. Penovich seconded, carried
unanimously.
Reso.il95-85 - First Amended Relocation Order of the City of
Muskego, Waukesha County, Wisconsin (Ladwig Dr. Sewer Project).
DeAngelis moved for adoption. Penovich seconded. Carried
unanimously.
Reso.#96-85 - Approving Acquisition of Easements for Ladwig Drive
Sewer Project (Klenz). Penovich moved for adoption. Hilt
seconded. DeAngelis moved to amend the sewer easement to delete
the sentence referring to hauling of fill. Dumke seconded,
carried 6-1 with Taube voting "no". Reso.it96-85 As Amended
adopted unanimously.
Reso.#97-85 - Resolution Authorizing Ehlers and Associates, Inc.
General Obligation Promissory Notes for the City of Muskego.
to Solicit Competitive Proposals for Not to Exceed $2,500,000
Penovich moved for adoption. Tomczyk seconded, carried
unanimously.
Reso.it98-85 - Authorizing Expenditure of TIF Funds. Penovich
moved for adoption, Hilt seconded. Noted that the plantings
included in Improvements to Denoon Park to be further reviewed by
Council. Carried 6-1 with Taube voting "no".
Reso.il99-85 - Approval of Practice/Show Dates of Water Bugs Ski
Water Bugs Ski Club on Little Muskego Lake. Tomczyk moved for
Club on Little Muskego Lake. Approval of Practice/Show Dates of
adoption. Hilt seconded, carried unanimously.
Reso.i/100-85 - Granting Placement of Water Ski Jump on Bed of
Little Muskego Lake and Placement of Pier at Idle Isle (Water
Bugs). Tomczyk moved for adoption. Hilt seconded. Hilt moved

LICENSE APPROVAL - Penovich moved for approval of Operators
Licenses for Daniel Couillard, Carol Differt, Ilario Cirillo,
Donna Jacobi, Donald St. Marie, Nola Breiting, Michael Manthy,
Mark Grzesiak, David Dziubek, Don Wallis, John Tobatto, Nancy
Williams, Sally Weiley, Michael Scott and Edward Serdynski.
Tomczyk seconded, carried.
VOUCHER APPROVAL - Penovich moved for payment of General Vouchers
-9,191.83. Tomczyk seconded, carried unanimously.
Penovich moved for approval of payment of Sewer Utility Vouchers
in amount of $252,087.49. Dumke seconded, carried unanimously.
CITY OFFICIAL'S REPORTS - Clerk read letter from Muskego Women's
Club encouraging participation in the letter writing campaign for
traffic lights on Hwy. 24 at Lannon and Tess Corners Dr.
ADJOURNMENT - Nilsson moved to adjourn at 10:12 P.M. Hilt
seconded, carried.
