MINUTES OF ORGANIZATIONAL MEETING HELD APRIL 16, 1985.
Called to order by Chairman Salentine at 7:lO P.M. Also
present were Ald. DeAngelis, Dumke, Gaetzke, Hilt, Nilsson,
Penovich and Tomczyk, Clerk Stewart and City Atty. Molter.
Ald. Gaetzke presented his comments as outgoing alderman of the
4th District.
Mayor Salentine introduced Waukesha Circuit Judge Jess
Martinez, Jr. who made a few comments on the responsibility of
Office to the following elected and appointed City officials:
governmental officials and then administered the Oaths of
Deputy Treasurer Anne Hoefke Alderman - District VI Frank DeAngelis
Alderman - District VI1
Alderman - District 11
Edwin P. Dumke
Alderman - District IV
Mitchel Penovich
David Taube
Following the seating of the newly elected Alderman for the 4th
District, David Taube, brief comments were made by him and the
other newly elected officials expressing appreciation to their
constituents for their support.
Mayor Salentine thanked former Ald. Gaetzke for his services to
the 4th District and the Council.
ELECTION OF COUNCIL PRESIDENT
City Clerk Stewart and Deputy Clerk Marenda acted as ballot
clerks.
On the nominating ballot the following votes were cast: Ald.
Tomczyk - 6; Ald. Penovich - 1.
On the first election ballot the following votes were cast: Ald. Tomczyk - 7. Ald. Tomczyk was unanimously elected
President of the Common Council.
ELECTION OF COUNCIL REPRESENTATIVE TO THE PLAN COMMISSION
On the nominating ballot the following votes were cast: Ald.
Nilsson - 6; Ald. DeAngelis - 1.
On the first election ballot the following votes were cast:
Ald. Nilsson - 6; Ald. DeAngelis - 1. Ald. Nilsson was elected
to serve as Council Representative to the Plan Commission.

Rehabilitation District.
