Also present were Aldermen Tomczyk, DeAngelis, Dumke, Gaetzke, Hilt, Nilsson and Penovich, City Atty. Molter and City Clerk Stewart. Penovich moved, Tomczyk seconded, to approve minutes of meeting held 3/12/85. Carried. Personal Appearance - Ray Gulan, Industrial Development, Inc. uresented urouosal for a Training. Educational and Correctional Facility ii MLskego. The Councii-expressed its opposition to the proposal. COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE MAYOR'S OFFICE PROCLAMATION - 35th Anniversary of Muskego Lions Club - Presented to Wally Braatz. PROCLAMATION - Recycling Week - May 5-11, 1985 Mayor announced future Council meetings on 2nd and 4th Tuesdays would be televised on Cable Channel 32 at 7:30 P.M. 0 COMMITTEE REPORTS Tomczyk moved for approval of minutes of Finance Committee meetings held 3120185 and 3/26/85. TomczyK moved'to-amend plan in accordance with Finance Committ recommendations to change the time schedule for all items requiring an expenditure to "Prior to 10/17/86". Gaetzke seconded, carried. Ord.11522 - An Ordinance to Amend Chapter 30, Section 30.09, 30.15 5 (G) and 30.19 (1) of the Municipal Code (Building Code) 2nd reading. Dumke moved for adoption. Penovich seconded, carried unanimously. NEW BUSINESS Reso.1151-85 - Directing the City Attorney to Draft the Implementing Ordinance to Rezone Property for Industrial Park Expansion. Nilsson moved for adoption. Tomczyk seconded, carried unanimously. Reso.#52-85 - Expressing Intent to Proceed with Project to Expand the City HallILibrary. Penovich moved for adoption. Reso.1155-85 - Authorizing Execution of Agreement Between Metro Sanitation and City for Installation of Sanitary Facilities at Park Complexes ($2.378.38). Tomczyk moved for adoption. Reso.#58-85 - Authorizing Lease Agreement Between Water Patrolmen and City of Muskego. Penovich moved for adoption. Tomczyk seconded, carried unanimously. Reso.1159-85 - Authorizing Lease Agreement Between Muskego Marine, Inc. and City of Muskego ($1,000). Tomczyk moved for adoption. Dumke seconded, carried unanimously. Reso.1160-85 - Relocation Order of the City of Muskego, Waukesha County, Wisconsin (Jewel Creek Rehabilitation Project). Tomczyk moved for adoption. DeAngelis seconded. With the permission of to the Jewel Creek Dam, and that the Little Muskego Lake Assn. is the Council, Mr. Wil Vidal explained that Phase 1 is from College committed to coming up with 20% matching funds to comply with the adotpion of the Relocation Order until the title reports have funding for this project. Atty. Molter spoke in opposition to been received. Motion to adopt Reso. 1160-85 carred unanimously. Reso.//61-85 - Authorization to Obtain Easements (Jewel Creek Rehabilitation Project). Tomczyk moved for adoption. Gaetzke seconded. Tomczyk moved to amend to add: "Be it futher resolved that the financial terms of the arrangement for acquisition of said easements as to payment of related costs such as title insurance costs, attorney fees and relocation and appraisal fees shall be worked out between the Finance Committee and the Little Muskego Lake Association, Inc." DeAngelis seconded, carried. Reso. 1/61-85 As Amended adopted unanimously. Ord.11523 - An Ordinance to Amend Chapter 20, Section 20.06(3) and Section 20.06(4) of the Municipal Code (Races on Ice) 1st Reading. 0 Grant requirements. The Finance Committee will discuss the LICENSE APPROVAL - Tomczyk moved for approval of Operator's License for Kimberly Dick. Penovich seconded, carried. Common Council Minutes 3/26/85 - Page 4 VOUCHER APPROVAL - Tomczyk moved for approval of payment of General Vouchers in amount of $270,556.08. Penovich seconded, carried unanimously. 1 Gaetzke moved for approval of payment of Sewer Utility Vouchers in amount of $1,088,388.09. DeAngelis seconded, carried unanimously. CITY OFFICIAL'S REPORTS - Atty. Molter reported on claims filed against the City by Niezgoda and Heckert. ADJOURNMENT - Hilt moved to adjourn at 10:28 P.M. Nilsson seconded, carried.
