1 MINUTES OF MEETING HELD MARCH 12, 1985
Called to order by Chairman Salentine at 7:40 P.M. Also present
were Aldermen Tomczyk, DeAngelis, Dumke, Gaetzke, Hilt, Nilsson
and Penovich, Clerk Stewart and Atty. Macy.
Penovich moved, Tomczyk seconded, to approve minutes of meeting
held 2/26/85. Carried.
COMMITTEE REPORTS
Penovich presented minutes of Finance Committee meeting held
3/6/85. Tomczyk presented minutes of meeting held 3/12/85 and
moved for approval of both. Penovich seconded, carried.
Gaetzke presented minutes of Public Welfare Committee meeting
held 3/2/85 and moved for approval. Tomczyk seconded, carried.

DeAngelis presented minutes of Public Works Committee meeting
moved for individual consideration of 3rd paragraph. DeAngelis
seconded, carried unanimously. Motion to approve minutes without
3rd paragraph carried. Penovich moved to refer 3rd paragraph to
carried unanimously. 0 Public Works Committee for further review. DeAngelis seconded,
COMMUNICATIONS FROM MAYOR'S OFFICE
DeAngelis requested the appointment of E. Ellery to the Senior
Citizens Committee as a representative of the Golden Agers. Some
concern was expressed over an appointment to a Committee close to
completion of their duties. With the permission of the Council,
Mr. Ellery advised he was interested in serving on this
Committee. DeAngelis moved that E. Ellery be placed on the
Senior Citizens Committee. Gaetzke seconded. Carried 5-2 with
Tomczyk, DeAngelis, Gaetzke, Hilt and Penovich voting "yes" and
Dumke and Nilsson voting ''no''.
Mayor announced Informational Hearing on the proposed City HalljLibrary Expansion would be held at 7: 15 P.M. on 3/26/85.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS
Ord.#521 - An Ordinance to Amend Chapter 12, Section 12.17(5) of
the Municipal Code parade Fees). 2nd reading. Penovich moved
for adoption. Gaetzke seconded, carried unanimously.

NEW BUSINESS
Reso.#43-85 - Authorization to Hire Sewer Treatment Plant
Operator at Step Two of Salary Range. Gaetzke moved for
adoption. Tomczyk seconded, carried unanimously.
Reso.#44-85 - Approval of Certified Survey Map (A.Schmidt).
Nilsson moved for adoption. Tomczyk seconded. Carried
unanimously .
Reso.#45-85 - Approval of Preliminary Plat - Aud-Mar Estates.
Penovich moved for adoption. Nilsson seconded. Penovich moved
to defer to allow Public Works to review curb and gutter
requirement. Gaetzke seconded, carried unanimously.
Reso.f46-85 - Authorizing the Filling of Patrolman Position at
the Police Department. Tomczyk moved for adoption. DeAngelis
seconded, carried unanimously.
Reso.#47-85 - Establishing Policy - Refilling of Vacant
Positions. Tomczyk moved for adoption. Dumke seconded, carried
unanimously.
Reso.#48-85 - Authorizing Execution of Agreement Between
Land). Tomczyk moved for adoption. Hilt seconded. Gaetzke
Ingersoll Cable Corp. and City of Muskego (Lease of City-Owned
moved to amend No. 1 of the Agreement to amend the last sentence
as follows: "The City and Ingersoll agree that if the cable t.v.
franchise is terminated, or at the end of the leasehold period,
whichever comes first, Ingersoll shall leave the building on the
site if requested to do so by the City at no cost to the City."
Nilsson seconded, carried. Motion to adopt Reso.#48-85 (As
Amended) carried unanimously.
Reso.#49-85 - Authorizing Refund (S.Krause). Dumke moved for
adoption. Tomczyk seconded, carried unanimously.
Reso.#50-85 - Establishing Separate Account - Old Muskego
Settlement Centre. Nilsson moved for adoption. Tomczyk
seconded, carried unanimously.

Ord.#522 - An Ordinance to Amend Chapter 30, Section 30.09, 30.15
5 (C) and 30.19 (1) of the Municipal Code (Building Code) 1st
Reading.
LICENSE APPROVAL - Tomczyk moved for approval of Operator's
License for Amy Bowen. Penovich seconded, carried.
Tomczyk moved for approval of Refuse Hauling License for Kirk
Higgins. Penovich seconded, carried.

VOUCHER APPROVAL - Tomczyk moved for approval of payment of
General Vouchers in the amount of $1,341,461.33. Dumke seconded,
carried unanimously.
Gaetzke moved for approval of payment of Sewer Utility Vouchers
in the amount of $9,359. DeAngelis seconded, carried
unanimously.
