MINUTES OF MEETING HELD OCTOBER 9, 1984
Called to order by Chairman Salentine. Also present were
Aldermen Tomczyk, DeAngelis, Dumke, Gaetzke, Hilt and Nilsson,
Clerk Stewart and City Atty. Molter. Ald. Penovich was absent.
Tomczyk moved, Dumke seconded, to approve minutes of meeting held 9/25/84. Carried.
COMMITTEE REPORTS
Tomczyk presented minutes of Finance Committee meetings held 10/3/84 and 10/9/84 and moved same be accepted. Dumke seconded,
carried.
Hilt presented minutes of Public Welfare Committee meeting held 9/27/84 and moved same be accepted. Tomczyk seconded. Committee
recommended discussion on continuance of Cable TV Citizens
Committee. It was noted there no longer were enough members of
that committee for a quorum. At the request of Gaetzke, Mr.
Koester spoke in favor of maintaining the citizen's committee.
Council felt the Welfare Committee could now handle the duties of
the citizens committee. Carried.
Hilt presented minutes of Public Safety Committee meeting held
10/4/84 and moved same be accepted. Nilsson seconded, carried.
DeAn elis presented minutes of Public Works Committee meeting of 10/4784 and moved same be accepted. Hilt seconded, carried.
Minutes of 10/2/84 Plan Commission meeting received and filed.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS
Reso.#184-84 - Appointment of Citizen Representative to the Parks
and Recreation Board (Don Kangas). Nilsson moved for adoption.
Tomczyk seconded, carried unanimously.
Reso.#194-84 - Establishing a Policy Regarding Hiring of
Relatives. Dumke moved for reconsideration. Hilt seconded.

Ord.#505 - An Ordinance to Create Chapter 21 of the Municipal
Code of the City of Muskego Entitled "Sewer Utility". Second
Reading. Gaetzke moved for adoption. DeAngelis seconded.
Gaetzke moved to amend the "cover" Ordinance #505 as recommended
by the City Attorney and Ordinance #505 as recommended by the
City Engineer. Tomczyk seconded, carried unanimously.
Ordinances #505 (As Amended) adopted unanimously.
Ord.#506 - An Ordinance to Amend Chapter 12, Section 12.04(4)(d)
of the Nunicipal Code (Dance Halls). Second Reading. Dumke
moved for adoption. Gaetzke seconded, carried unanimously.
Ord.#507 - An Ordinance to Amend Chapter 12, Section 12.01(2) of
the Municipal Code (Liquor License Fees). Second Reading. Dumke
moved for adoption. Tomczyk seconded. Tomczyk moved to amend
last paragraph in Section 1 to read: "Fees submitted with license
applications which are not granted shall be refunded after
deducting the administrative costs in the amount of the fee or
$25, whichever is less." Nilsson seconded, carried. Ord. #507
(As Amended) adopted unanimously.

LICENSE APPROVAL - Tomczyk moved for approval of Operator's
Licenses for Eva Reiner, Susan Loeffler and LaVonne Smith. Dude
seconded, carried.
VOUCHER APPROVAL - Tomczyk moved for approval of payment of
General Vouchers in the amount of $436,389.01. Dumke seconded,
carried unanimously.
Gaetzke moved for approval of payment of Sewer Utility Vouchers
in the amount of $25,193.98. DeAngelis seconded, carried
unanimously.
CITY OFFICIAL'S REPORTS - Clerk announced Public Hearing on
7:25 P.M.
Proposed Use of Federal Revenue Sharing funds on 10/23/84 at
Atty. Molter advised the Title Ins. Co. vs City of Muskego case
has been dismissed, and that a preliminary hearing will be held 10/17/84 on the Spitzner lawsuit.

seconded, carried.
