MINUTES OF MEETING HELD SEPTEMBER 25, 1984
Called to order by Acting Chairman Tomczyk at 7:59 P.M. Also
present were Aldermen DeAngelis, Dumke, Hilt, Nilsson and
Penovich, Clerk Stewart and City Atty. Molter. Mayor Salentine
and Ald. Gaetzke were absent. Tomczyk advised as Acting Chairman
he would vote only in case of tie vote.
Penovich moved, Dumke seconded, to approve minutes of meeting
held 911 1/84. Carried.
COMMITTEE REPORTS
Penovich presented minutes of Finance Committee meetings held 9/19/84 and 9/25/84 and moved same be accepted. Dumke seconded,
carried.
Penovich presented minutes of Public Sewer Committee meeting held
9/20/84 and moved same be accepted. DeAngelis seconded, carried.
DeAngelis presented minutes of Public Works Committee meeting
held 9/20/84 and moved same be accepted. Hilt seconded. carried. -I - 0 Nilsson presented minutes of Cable TY Citizens Committee meeting
held 9/17/84.
Minutes of Plan Commission meeting held 9/18/84 received and
placed on file.
NEW BUSINESS
Reso.#184-84 - Appointment of Citizen Representative to the Parks
andon Board. Penovich moved to defer. Nilsson
seconded, carried.
Reso.#190-84 - Appointment of Fire Inspectors - (Bieganski-TCVFD
and Mack-MFVC). Nilsson moved for adoption. DeAngelis seconded,
carried unanimously. Oath of Office followed, with presentation
of certificate by Clerk.
Reso.#191-84 - Approval of Certified Survey Map (R.Ripp).
Nilsson moved for adoption. Penovich seconded, carried
unanimously.
Reso.#192-84 - Approval of Certified Survey Map (L.Erno)
Nilsson moved for adoption. DeAngelis seconded, carried
unanimously.

Reso.#195-84 - Expressing Opposition to City-Wide Lake
District. Dumke moved for adODtion. Hilt seconded. Several
aldermen expressed opposition to City-Wide Lake District. Dumke
requested all contact county supervisors to voice opposition.
Carried unanimously.
Reso.#196-84 - Denial of Claim (David Garner). DeAngelis moved
for adoption. Dude seconded, carried unanimously.
Reso.#197-84 - Approval of Increase of Uniform Maintenance
Allowance - Police Department. Dumke moved for adoption.
Penovich seconded, carried 4-1 with DeAngelis voting "no".
Reso.#198-84 - Approval of Change Order (Denoon Park - $16,750). Nilsson moved for adoption. Hilt seconded. Dumke

Ending 12/31/84). Penovich moved for adoption. Nilsson
M-rague and Co. for Audit Service (General Fund - Year

Reso.#202-84 - Approval of Agreement Between the City and Conley,
McDonald,rague and Co. for Audit Service (Sewer Utility - Year
Ending 12/31/84). DeAngelis moved for adoption. Nilsson
seconded, carried unanimously.

Tomczyk requested discussion of payment of license fees at time
of application at next Finance Committee meeting.
LICENSE APPROVAL - Penovich moved for approval of Operator's
Licenses for Craig Racer. Marcia Miller. Loretta Peterson. JoseDh
Kohl, Karen Potrycus and'september Sanneman. Dumke seconded,
carried unanimously.
VOUCHER APPROVAL - Penovich moved for payment of General Vouchers
in amount of $163,485.78. Nilsson seconded, carried unanimously.
DeAngelis moved for payment of Sewer Utility Vouchers in amount
of $11,025.35. Penovich seconded, carried unanimously.
CITY OFFICIAL'S REPORTS - Atty. Molter advised lawsuit received
today from Spitzner's regarding siren. Atty. Molter advised of
Mr. Spann's discussion wlth him regarding pbssible rescission of
DandiLion Park referendum question.
ADJOURNMENT - Hilt moved to adjourn at 9:05 P.M. Nilsson
seconded, carried.
