MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JULY IO, 1984
Called to order by Chairman Salentine at 7:40 P.M. Also present
were Aldermen DeAngelis, Dumke, Gaetzke, Hilt, Nilsson and
Penovich, City Attorney Macy and Deputy Clerk Marenda. Ald.
Tomczyk was absent.
Dumke moved, Penovich seconded, to approve minutes of meeting
held June 26, 1984. Carried.
COMMITTEE REPORTS
Penovich moved for acceptance of minutes of Finance Committee
meeting held 7/10/84. Gaetzke seconded, carried.
Penovich presented minutes of Public Sewer Committee meeting held 7/9/84 and moved same be accepted. DeAngelis seconded. Gaetzke
explained committee's recommended change of City policy which
will exclude assessments for limited access interceptor sewers.
Council concurred. Motion carried.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS
0 Municipal Code (Sale of Package Goods-Class B). Deputy Clerk
Ord.#497 - An Ordinance to Amend Chapter 12, Section 12.01 of the
gave second reading. Gaetzke moved for adoption. Dumke
seconded, carried unanimously.
Ord.#498 - An Ordinance to Amend Chapter 1, Section 1.02 of the
Municipal Code (Police Powers-Aldermen). Second reading by
Deputy Clerk. Nilsson moved for adoption. Gaetzke seconded.
After discussion regarding delineation of powers, Nilsson moved
to defer. Penovich seconded, carried unanimously.
Reso.#138-84 - Authorizing the Filling of the Cadet Position -
Police Department. Adopted 6/26/84. Penovich moved for
reconsideration. Nilsson seconded, carried unanimously. Nilsson
moved to amend third paragraph to replace "patrolman" with "tele-
communicator". Gaetzke seconded, carried. Reso.#138-84 (As
Amended) adopted unanimously.
NEW BUSINESS
Reso.#144-84 - Authorizing the Granting of $1200 for V.F.W. Country Fair Days Parade. Hilt moved for adoption. Penovich
seconded. Noted that $1206 contributed to City for parade from
Muskego Day at Brewer's Committee. Carried unanimously.
Reso.#145-84 - Waiving Permit Fee for V.F.W. Parade. Gaetzke
moved for adoption. Penovich seconded, carried unanimously.

Reso.#146-84 - Authorizing Expenditure of TIP Funds for Soil
Borings - Ladwig Drive ($3,000-l'ID #4). DeAngelis moved for
adoption. Gaetzke seconded, carried unanimously.
Reso.#147-84 - Modifying the Engineer's Report on Reserve
Capacity Assessments. Gaetzke moved for adoption. DeAngelis
seconded, carried unanimously.
Reso.#148-84 - Authorizing Execution of Agreement Between Muskego
Professional Policeman's Assn. and City of Muskego. Removed from
agenda.
LICENSE APPROVAL - Penovich moved for approval of Refuse Hauling
Permit for Best Disposal System for 7/1/84 to 6/30/05. Dumke
seconded, carried.
Penovich moved for approval of Gathering Permit for St. Paul's
Church for 8/5/84. Nilsson seconded, carried.
Wagon) for Keith Dah1 - 7/1/84 to 6/30/85. Gaetzke seconded,
Penovich moved for approval of Transient Merchant Permit (Popcorn

VOUCHER APPROVAL - Penovich moved for approval of payment of
General Vouchers in amount of $315,156.85- Nilsson Seconded,
carried unanimously.
Gaetzke moved for approval of payment of Sewer Utility Vouchers
in amount of $15,695.12.
CITY OFFICIAL'S REPORTS - Deputy Clerk reported joint public
hearing with Council and Plan Commission would be held on 8/?4/84
at 7:25 P.M. to consider amendments to Zoning Ordinance and Land
Division Ordinance as recommended by Plan Commission.
ADJOURNMENT - Gaetzke moved to adjourn at 8:32 P.M. Dude
seconded, carried.
