MINUTES OF MEETING HELD June 26, 1984
Called to order by Chairman Salentine at 8:03 P.M. Also present
were Aldermen Tomczyk, DeAngelis, Hilt, Nilsson and Penovich,
City Clerk Stewart and Atty. Molter. Ald. Dumke and Gaetzke were
absent.
Tomczyk moved, Penovich seconded, to approve minutes of meeting
held June 12, 1984. Carried.
PERSONAL APPEARANCE - On behalf of the "Muskego Day at the
Brewers Game" Committee, Chairman Bob Reinke presented the
Council with a check in the amount of $1206.00 to offset the tax
dollars allocated for contribution for the VFW parade.
COMMITTEE REPORTS
Tomczyk presented minutes of Finance Committee meetings held
6/20/04 and 6/26/84 and moved same be accepted. Penovich
seconded, carried.
DeAngelis presented minutes of Public Sewer Committee meeting
held 6/14/84 and moved same be accepted. Hilt seconded. Mayor
noted the minutes included change of City policy to permit
installation of a sewer main on private property; and, change of RCA policy for REC assignment for businesses sharing the same

Ord.#490 - An Ordinance to Amend Chapter 17 of the Municipal Code
Agriculture Zoning). Clerk gave second reading. DeAngelis moved
of the City of Muskego to Create Section 17:8.20 (Exclusive
for adoption. Nilsson seconded. DeAngelis moved to amend
attachment to change statute number referred to under (7)A.I.a.
amended attachment adopted unanimously.

Muskego (A to EA). Clerk gave second reading. DeAngelis moved
for adoption. Nilsson seconded. Mayor noted the map had been

Reso.#133-84 - Appointment of Members to Capital Budgeting
Committee (Mayor, Clerk, Ald.Dumke, Ald.Penovich,
L.Constantineau, J.Weiteer, R.Christenson, M.Dibb, D.Reinke,
R.Walsh-exp.5/1/85). Tomczyk moved for adoption. Penovich
seconded, carried unanimously.
Reso.#134-84 - Renewal of Extractive Permit for State Sand &
Gravel and Payne and Dolan. Nilsson moved for adoption. Tomczyk
seconded, carried unanimously.
Reso.#135-84 - Approval of Certified Survey Ma (City-owned
Troperty - Area of Tess Corners Retention Pond P . Nilsson moved
for adoption. Penovich seconded, carried unanimously.
Reso.#136-84 - Final Resolution Authorizing Installation of
Against Benefited Property (Bass Bay Sewer Project) DeAngelis
Sanitary Sewer Improvements and Levying Special Assessments
moved for adoption. Penovich seconded. Carried unanimously.
Reso.#137-84 - Denial of Grievance Filed by Police Officer
(Geiszler) Tomceyk moved for adoption. Penovich seconded,
carried unanimously.
Reso.#138-84 - Authorizing the Filling of the Cadet Position at
the Police Department. Tomczyk moved for adoption. Penovich
seconded, carried unanimously.
Reso.#139-84 - Acceptance of Bid for Sewer Project-Bass Bay
(D.F.Tomasini-Waukesha-$309,115). DeAngelis moved for
adoption. Penovich seconded, carried unanimously.

Reso.#140-84 - Directing City Engineer to Prepare Plans and
Specifications for Kurtze Lane Road Project. Penovich moved for
adoption. DeAngelis seconded. Penovich reported road would be
graveled this year and storm sewer work done. Road will be
asphalted next year. Carried unanimously.
Reso.#141-84 - Approval of Extension of Contract and Permit for
Landfill Site. Tomczyk moved for adoption. Hilt seconded.
DeAngelis objected to issuing the permit 6 months prior to
expiration. Motion carried 4-1 with DeAngelis casting only "no"
vote.
Reso.#142-84 - Approval of Legal Lot Status - J. Vermilyea.
Nilsson moved for adoption. Hilt seconded, carried unanimously.
Reso.#143-84 - Approval of Legal Lot Status - J. Halbach.
Nilsson moved for adoption. Tomczyk seconded, carried
unanimously.
Municipal Code (Liquor Licenses) First reading by title only. Ord.#497 - An Ordinance to Amend Chapter 12, Section 12.01 of the
Ord.#498 - An Ordinance to Amend Chapter 1, Section 1.02 of the
Municipal Code (Police Powers) First reading by title only. 0
LICENSE APPROVAL - Tomczyk moved for approval of Operator's
Licenses for Cheryl Thiele, Cheryl Morgan, Mark Tiedke, Julie
Kinn, Gloria Szopinski, Yvonne Weitingi Nickolas Tidball and
Larry Friemoth. Nilsson seconded, carried.
Tomczyk moved for approval of Refuse Hauling Permits for 7/1/84
to 6/30/85 for Modern Wrecking Co., United Waste Systems, Economy
Disposal, Moeller Disposal, Northwestern Lumber & Wrecking Co.,
Sanitary Disposal Service, Industrial Waste Corp., R. Hoge Co.,
and Waste Management of Milwaukee. Hilt seconded, carried.
Tomczyk moved for approval of Class B Fermented Malt Beverage and
Intoxicating Liquor License for Edwin Frami (Garfield's), W191 S7690 Racine Ave., (formerly Lion's Park Inn). Penovich
seconded, carried.
Waylyn, Inc. with condition that use of live music for patio area

only be limited to Sat. and Sun. from Noon to 9:OO P.M., with no

DeAngelis moved for approval of payment of Sewer Utility Vouchers
in the amount of $18,296.48. Penovich seconded, carried
unanimously.
CITY OFFICIAL'S REPORTS - Clerk acknowledged receipt of petition
from D. DeLaRosa for rezoning from RS-3 (OLS) to RS-3 (00s) and
set public hearing for 7/24/g4 at 7:25 P.M. .
