MINUTES OF MEETING HELD MAY 22, 1984
Aldermen Tomczyk, DeAngelis, Dumke, Gaetzke, Hilt, Nilsson and
Called to order by Chairman Salentine. Also present were
Penovich, City Attorney Molter and City Clerk Stewart.
Tomczyk moved, Penovich seconded, to approve minutes of meeting
held May 8, 1984 Carried.

COMMITTEE REPORTS
Tomczyk presented minutes of Finance Committee meetings of
5/16/84 and 5/22/84 and moved same be accepted. Penovich
seconded, carried.
Gaetzke presented minutes of Public Welfare Committee meeting
held 5/17/84 and moved same be accepted. Hilt seconded, carried.

DeAngelis presented minutes of Public Works Committee meeting
carried.
Plan Commission minutes of 5/15/84 meeting were received.

Eroelich (Gold' Drive). On the floor, deferred from 5/8/84. Plan
Commission reviewed and reaffirmed approval. Motion to adopt
carried unanimously.

accordance with recommendation of City Atty. to include correct
for adoption. Tomczyk seconded. Nilsson moved to amend in
state statute numbers. Tomczyk seconded, carried. Ord.ij492 (As
Amended) adopted unanimously.
Ord.ij493 - An Ordinance to Amend Chapter 12, Section 12.01(4)(c)
nand 12.01 (8)(a) and (c) of the Municipal Code (Liquor
Licenses). Second reading. Dumke moved for adoption. Gaetzke
seconded, carried unanimously.
Ord.#494 - An Ordinance to Amend the Zoning Map of the City of
Muskego (B-1 to RSM-Richter). Second reading. Nilsson moved for
adoption. Tomczyk seconded, carried unanimously.

Clerk read PROCLAMATION honoring Milwaukee Brewer and Muskego
Resident Thomas Tellmann on "Muskego Day at the Brewer's 'Game" -
6/3/84.
Clerk read PROCLAMATION acknowledging the participation of
Natalie Wichgers in carrying the Olympic Torch for one kilometer
on its route from New York to Los Angeles for the 1984 Summer
Olympic games.
NEW BUSINESS
Reso.#112-84 - Honoring Muskego's AFS Student - Zianne Valerio of
Costa Rica. Nilsson moved for adoption. DeAngelis seconded,
carried unanimously.
Amend Zoning District Map (RS-2 to RS-2 (00s) - Gerstmann).
Reso.Bl13-84 - Directing City Attorney to Draft Ordinance to
Nilsson moved for adoption. DeAngelis seconded. Letter from
adjoining property owners expressing no objection was read.
Motion carried unanimously.
Reso.Bl14-84 - Authorizing Agreement Between City of Muskego and
'Wisconsin Dept. of Agriculture (Weights h Measures) ($1,490 -
1984185). Penovich moved for adoption. Tomczyk seconded,
carried unanimously.
Reso.#115-84 - Acceptance of Low Bid for 1984 Road Improvement
Program (Wolf Paving h Exc.). Penovich moved for adoption.
DeAngelis seconded, carried unanimously.
Reso.Bl16-84 - Approval of Certified Survey Map (Couture).
Nilsson moved for adoption. Tomczyk seconded, carried
unanimously.
Reso.#117-84 - Denial of Legal Lot Status (Halbach). Nilsson moved tor adoption. Hilt seconded. Tomczyk moved to defer to
allow the Plan Commission to review an alternate plan to be
submitted by Mr. Halbach. Nilsson seconded, carried unanimously.
Reso.#118-84 - Approval of Legal Lot Status (Kolkoski). Nilsson
moved for adoption. Tomczyk seconded, carried unanimously.
Reso.#119-84 - Authorizing Expenditure of Additional Funds for
Preparation of Plans and Specifications for Ladwig Drive Sewer
Project ($3,600). Tomczyk moved for adoption. Gaetzke
paragraph to obtain clarification if TIF eligible. Gaetzke
seconded. Tomczyk moved to amend to delete "from TID #4" in 4th
seconded, carried. Reso.#119-84 As Amended adopted 6-1 with - Dumke voting "no".

Reso.#120-84 - Appointment of Citizen Member to Police and Fire
Commission (Dick Horn). Nilsson moved for adoption. Tomczyk
seconded, carried unanimously.
Ord.8495 - An Ordinance to Amend Chapter 1.09 of the Municipal
Code of the City of Muskego (Elections). First reading.
Gaetzke seconded, carried unanimously. Second reading by
Penovich moved to suspend rules to permit second reading.
Clerk. Gaetzke moved for adoption. Nilsson seconded, carried
unanimously.
LICENSE APPROVAL - Tomczyk moved for approval of Operator's
Licenses for Gary Kienast, Debra Sprague, Jon Weisnicht, Robert
Feller, Greg Setnik, Donald Mittag, Robert Wolf, Kathleen
Stewart, Chris Almi and Chris Meadow. Hilt seconded, carried
unanimously.
Tomczyk moved for approval of Class B Fermented Malt Beverage and
Intoxicating Liquor Licenses for: Diana Repischak, W173 S10626
Muskego Dam, Hales Corners-1984185 (formerly Molly Caesar's);
Joanne Masterson, S76 W17708 Janesville Rd., Muskego-l984/85
W17745 Janesville Rd., Muskego-6/1-6/30/84 (formerly Cliffords
(formerly Parkmaster Attractions); and Genivieve Brown, S76
Food Service). Penovich seconded, carried.
Tomczyk moved for approval of Transient Merchant Permit for
Concession Truck - 1984185 - N. Heath/R. Pakulski. Nilsson
seconded, carried.
VOUCHER APPROVAL - Tomczyk moved for approval of payment of
general vouchers in the amount of $1,257,519.55. Penovich
seconded, carried unanimously.
Gaetzke moved for approval of payment of sewer utility vouchers
in the amount of $34,859.47. Penovich seconded, carried
unanimously.
CITY OFFICIAL'S REPORTS - Building Report for April acknowledged.
Ald. Tomczyk advised he was selected as temporary chairman of
negotiating committee for Waste Facility Siting Board and
reported on first meeting. Next meeting July 2, 1984.
ADJOURNMENT - Tomczyk moved to adjourn at 9:12 P.M. Gaetzke
seconded, carried.
