ccm19840424COMMON COUNCIL CITY OF MUSKEG0 MINUTES OF MEETING HELD APRIL 24, 1984 Called to order by Chairman Salentine at 7:45 P.M. Also present were Aldermen Tomczyk, DeAngelis, Dumke, Gaetzke. Hilt and Penovich, City Clerk Stewart and City Attorney Molter. Ald. Nilsson was absent. Tomczyk moved, Hilt seconded, to approve minutes of meetings held April 10 and 17, 1984. Carried. COMMITTEE REPORTS Tomczyk presented minutes of Finance Committee meetings held April 18 and 24, 1984 and moved same be accepted and placed on file. Seconded by Penovich, carried. DeAngelis presented minutes of Public Sewer Committee meeting held April 12, 1984 and moved same be accepted and placed on file. Gaetzke seconded, carried. April 19, 1984 and moved same be accepted and placed on file. Hilt presented minutes of Public Works Committee meeting held DeAngelis seconded, carried. Tomczyk presented minutes of Cable TV Citizens Committee meeting held 3/7/84. The minutes of the 4/17/84 Plan Commission meeting were received and placed on file. PEBSONAL APPEARANCES Waukesha County Supervisors George Guhr and Frank Narlock presented their views on resolutions adopted by the County regarding the proposed expansion to the Muskego and Franklin landfill sites. 0 ELEC'EION OF, .COUNC:LL. Tomczyk moved to amend by deleting next request to fill a vacancy. Motion to amend carried 5-1 with last paragraph. Dumke seconded. NEW BUSINESS Res.o.8-75-84 - Approval of Request for Holding Tank (General Motors). Tomczyk moved for adoption. Gaetzke seconded. DeAngelis moved to amend to add: Be it further resolved that in the event sewers become available to this property, it shall be within 9 months of its availability. Mayor noted State law would required that this property shall be hooked to the sewer system Gaetzke and Penovich voting "yes", Tomczyk, Dumke and Hilt voting require the hook-up. Motion defeated 3-4. with DeAngelis, "no", and Mayor breaking tie with "no" vote. Gaetzke moved for approval of payment of Sewer Utility Vouchers in the amount of $12,430.18. DeAngelis seconded, carried unanimously. CATY ,OFSICIALS' .REPORTS - Building Inspection report for March received and placed on file. Clerk acknowledged receipt of petition from William Kolkoski for legal lot status of Lot 6, Block 10, Muskego Shores, and referred same to Plan Commission for review and recommendation. Mayor appointed Ald. Ralph Tomczyk as Council Representative to the Muskego Historical Society. ADJOURNMENT - Tomczyk moved to adjourn at 9 :40 P.M. Dumke seconded, carried.
