MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING HELD DECEMBER 8, 1982
Mayor Salentine called the meeting to order at 7:02 P.M. Also
Tomczyk and Treba and Deputy Clerk Elger.
present were Aldermen Nilsson, Penovich, Colburn, Klenz, Dumke,
NEW BUSINESS
Resolution Authorizing the City of Muskego to Join With Other
Resolution #227-82 - The Deputy Clerk read the resolution, entitled,
Communities in All Legal, Legislative, Administrative and Political
Actions Necessary to Secure a Contract With the Milwaukee Metropolitan
Sewerage District Based Upon Flow or Sewerage Strength For the
Recovery of Capital Costs and Authorizing An Appropriation of $21,000.00
Cover Such Actions. Ald. Klenz moved for adoption. Seconded by Ald.
As the City of Muskego's Share in Establishing An Initial Fund to
Tomczyk. During discussion, Mayor Salentine explained to those present
the necessity between the contract communities, including Muskego, and
Muskego's share of the legal expenses would be $21,000.00 to fight for
the MMSD based on flow rather than equalized valuation. He indicated
such a contract. Upon a roll call vote the motion to adopt Resolution
#227-82 carried unanimously.
Resolution #228-82 - The Deputy Clerk read same, entitled, Authorizing
adoption. Seconded by Ald. Nilsson. Lt. Zabel was present at the
the Filling of Vacant Telecommunicator Position. Ald. Treba moved for
meeting to answer questions of the aldermen and to explain the necessity
of filling the position immediately. Upon a roll call vote the motion
to adopt Resolution #228-82 carried unanimously.
ADJOURNMENT - Ald. Klenz moved to adjourn, seconded by Ald. Nilsson.
Motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 7:40 P.M.
