Present, Aldermen Klenz, Colburn, Dumke, Nilsson, Penovich and Treba, Clerk Stewart and Attorney Molter. Tomczyk was absent. Klenz moved to approve 10/26/82 minutes. Penovich seconded. Carried. COMMITTEE REPORTS Finance - Penovich moved, Treba seconded, to accept reports of 11/3/82 and 11/9/82. Carried. UNFIXISHED BUSINESS Resolution #203-82 - Extension of Contract and Permit for Landfill Site. defer action until the next Council meeting, Tre seconded. Carried. (Referred to Welfare Committee for further review) Tomczyk moved to Ordinance #442 - An Ordinance to Create Ch. 7, Sec. 343.44 of the Municipal Code (Re: Suspended or revoked Driver's Licenses) Seconded reading. Dumke moved, Klenz seconded,to adopt. Unanimously carried. COMMUNICATIONS FROM MAYOR Proclamation was read proclaiming Nov. 7 - 13th as "Public Employee Week" in Muskego. Waukesha Co. Board Supervisor, George Guhr, appeared at the meeting to apprise those present of the necessity to locate a site within the county where a county-wide landfill could be established for future be tested as there are more qualified sites within the county. years. Unanimously carried. rY214-82 - Restricting Smoking in City Hall Areas During Public Meetings Tomczyk spoke in opposition and Klenz moved to amend #214-82 by having the last paragraph read as follows: THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of Muskego does hereby prohibit smoking Nilsson seconded. lvlotion carried. Systems 18 of the Municipal Code (Re: Emergency Alarm - #445 - To Amend Certain Provisions of Ch. 17 (Zoning Ord.) (Re: Unoccupied trailers) - rY446 - To Amend Ch. 12.10 of the Municipal Code (Re: Occupied trailers) LICENSE APPROVAL - Penovich moved, Klenz seconded,to approve Operators Licenses for James Campeau, Kathy Yaeger, Marietta Hartung, Lanette Knapp, Gregory Subel, Margaret Schaumberg and Joe Baillargeon, subject to receipt of favorable police reports. VOUCHER APPROVAL - Klenz moved, Penovich seconded, to approve voucher payment in the amount of $508,754.39. Unanimously carried. Klenz moved, Penovich seconded, to approve sewer utility voucher payment in the amount of $54,907.02. Unanimously carried. CITY OFFICIAL'S REPORTS - October, 1982 Building Report indicated one new dwelling unit and total construction of $127,900.00. Placed on file. Attorney Molter advised the city's claim in Tudor Oaks bankruptcy matter has not been decided. ADJOURNMENT - Klenz moved, Penovich seconded, to adjourn at 9:15 P.M. Carried.
