The meetinrr waa called to order by Mayor Gottfried at 7:45 P. ~. A. A
present &e Aldermen Dumke, Penobich; Radtke, Klenz, Knudsen and
Salentine, City Clerk Stewart and City Attorney Molter. Ald. Ken
Steinberg waa absent.

Ald. Dumke moved for the approval of minutes of the previous meeting
held 12/8/81. Seconded by Ald. Penovich. Ald. Radtke moved to amend
the minutes to include License approval, voucher approval and city
official's report in the minutes of the l%/8/8l meeting. Seconded by Ald. Knudsen. Yotion carried. Upon a voice'vote the motion to
approve the minutes of December 8, 1981, as amended, carried.
Ald. Salentine presented the reports of the Finance Committee meetings
held 12/15/81 and 12/22/81 and moved that same be accepted and placed
on file. Seconded by Ald. Radtke. Ald. Knudsen questioned the action
of the Finance Committee regarding an application received by the
city for the operation of the game room in Parkland Mall. He moved
to have the paragraph regardtng the application for operation of the
game room deleted from the minutes. His motion lost for lack of
a second. Upon a roll call vote to accept the minutes and place them
on file the motion carried unanimously.
Ald. Radtke presented the report of the Rules, Laws & Ordinance
Committee meeting held 12/16/81 and moved it be accepted and placed
on file. Seconded by Ald. Salentine. Motion carried.
Ald. Klenz presented the report of the Public Sewer Cpnittee held
December 11, 1981 and moved that same be accepted.,and placed on file.
Seconded by Ald. Dumke. Motion carried. .,
Ald. Klenz presented the report of the Public- Safety Committee meeting
held 12/22/81 and moved that same be accepted nad placed on file.
Seconded by Ald. 5udeen. Motion carried.
The minutes of the Plan Commission meeting held."12/15/8l were received
and placed on file.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS
Ordinance #417 - The Clerk gave the second reading of same, entitled,
An Ordinance to Amend Ch. 20, Sec. 20.08 of the Municipal Code (Re:
Skin Diving). Ald. Salentine moved for adoption. Seconded by Ald.
Knudsen. Ald. Klenz moved to amend the ordinance to include the
words, "subject to a similar ordinance being adopted by the Town Board
of the Town of Norway." Seconded by Ald. Penovich. Upon a voice
vote the motion to amend carried. Ald. .Klenz moved to further amend
Sec. 20.08(2) Swimming, by deleting the words "manned by a competent
person." Seconded by Ald. Penovich. Following further discussion,
Ald. Knudsen moved to defer action on Ordinance #417 and refer same
back to the Rules, Laws tk Ordinance Committee for further review.

Resolution #195-81 - Honoring Two City of Muskego Eagle Scouts (John
and Ch
by Ald. Klenz. John and Christopher Gultch, who were present at the

meeting explained their project for which they achieved the rank of
Eagle Scout as being the repair and maintenance of Luther Parker
Cemetery. Mayor Gottfried presented them with copies of Resolution
#195-81 signed by himself and the aldermen.

Payne Sk Dolan, Inc. Ald. Klenz moved for adoption. Seconded by Ald.
Dumke. Upon a roll call vote the motion carried unanimously.
Resolution #197-81 - Establishing Traffic Regulations (No Parking
on Cornell Circle from Pump House north to its intersection with
Durham Dr.) Ald. JSnudsen moved for adoption. Seconded by Ald. Klenz.

Resolution #203-81 - Clarifying Resolution #129-81, Service Agreement
for Postage Meter Machine. Ald. Radtke moved for adoption. Seconded
by Ald. Dumke. ($167.00). Upon roll call the motion to adopt
carried unanimously.
LICENSE APPROVAL - Ald. Salentine moved for the approval of Operators
Bentley and Mary Pat O'Haver subject to receipt of favorable police
Licenses for Mary Loop, Ed Haugh, Paul Skorcz, Don Berger, Roger
reports. Seconded by Ald. Radtke. Motion carried.
Ald. Salentine moved for the approval of a Class "B' Fermented Malt
Beverage and Intoxicating Liquor License for Donna Johnson (formerly held by John Kramer, Sr.) Seconded by Ald. Klenz. Motion carried.
VOUCHER APPROVAL - Ald. Dumke moved for the approval of payment of
vouchers in the amount of $142,511.13. Seconded by Ald. Penovich.
Upon roll call the motion carried unanimously.
