MINUTES OF MEETING HELD DECEMBER 8, 1981
'0 The meeting was called to order by Mayor Gottfried at 7 40 P. M. Also
Knudsen and Salentine, City Clerk Stewart and City Attorney Molter.
Ald. Dumke moved for the approval of the minutes of the meeting held
11/24/81 and that same be accepted and placed on file. Seconded by
Ald. Penovich. Motion carried.

Ald. Salentine presented the reports of the Finance Committee meetings
held on 12/2/81 and 12/8/81 and moved that same be accepted and placed
on file. Seconded by Ald. Radtke. Motion carried.
Ald. Penovich presented the report of the Public Works Committee
meeting held 12/3/81 and moved that same be accepted and placed on
file. Seconded by Ald. Klenz. Following discussion regarding the
placement of dirt from the Tess Corners Drainage Project on St. Paul's
Church property, upon a roll call vote on the motion to accept the
report the motion carried with Ald. Steinberg voting "no".

the monies in the proposed Public Library 1982 capital budget
(card catalogs, shelving and book chargers, $5,150.00) into the
Library operating budget for 1982. Seconded by Ald. Penovich.
Upon a roll call vote on the motion to have the Library total
operating budget for 1982 be $160,150.00, Aldermen Knudsen, Penovich,
Salentine and Steinberg voted "aye". Aldermen Dumke, Klenz and
Radtke voted "no". The motion carried.

$1,000.00 (typewriter) from the City Treasurer's proposed 1982

Professional Services, from $28,000.00 to $26,000.00. Seconded by
Ald. Steinberg. Upon a roll call vote the motion carried unanimously
Ald. Steinberg moved that the gasoline allowance for the Building
Inspection Department be predicated on a mileage basis with a total
not to exceed $1250 per year. Seconded by Ald. Penovich. Following
discussion regarding the mileage payment to City of Milwaukee Building
Penovich, Radtke and Salentine voted "no". Ald. Steinberg voted "aye".
Inspectors, upon a roll call vote Aldermen Dumke, Kldnz, Knudsen,

Ald. Knudsen moved to amend the proposed 1982 city budget by changing
Acct. 53500-1520 from $6,000.00 to $4,500.00. Seconded by Ald.
Penovich. Upon a roll call vote, Aldermen Dumke, Klenz, Radtke,
Salentine and Steinberg voted "no" . Aldermen Knudsen and Penovich
voted "aye". The motion did not carry.

a roll call vote, Aldermen Dumke, Klenz, Penovich, Radtke and

The motion carried.
Ald. Salentine moved to reduce Acct. 58400-3212, Miscellaneous, Other
Supplies and Expenses, from $14,350.00 to $9,950.00. Seconded by
Ald. Knudsen. Upon a roll call vote the motion carried with Ald.
Steinberg voting "no".
Upon a roll call vote on the motion to adopt Ordinance #419 (1982
City of Muskego Budget in the amount of $3,464,879.00)the motion
carried with Ald. Steinberg voting "no". w Resolution #193-81 - Approval of City of Muskego 1982 Capital Budget

moved to make the deletions from the 1982 proposed capital budget

ADJOURNMENT - Ald. Knudsen moved to adjourn. Seconded by Ald. Dumke
Motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 11.01 P.M.

ADDENDUM TO CONNON COUNCIL MEETINGS OF MEETING HELD 12/8/81
LICENSE APPROVAL - Ald. Salentine moved for the approval of a Class "B"
Fermented Malt Beverage and Intoxicating Liquor License for Shirley
Crosby. Seconded by Ald. Radtke. Motion carried.
Ald. Salentine moved for the approval of Operator Licenses for Harold
by Ald. Dumke. Motion carried. Crosby, Scott Crosby, Jodie Crosby, A1 Josing and Ted Scheife. Seconded
VOUCHER APPROVAL - Ald. Dumke moved for the approval of payment of
vouchers in the amount of $305,904.83. Seconded by Ald. Radtke.
Upon roll call the motion carried unanimously.
CITY OFFICIAL'S REPORTS - The Clerk read the Building Report for the
month of November, 1981, indicating total construction in the amount
of $284,000.00 and four new dwellings for that month. Same placed on
file.
