MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JULY 14, 1981
Also present were Aldermen Dumke, Klenz, Knudsen, Radtke, Penovich
The meeting was called to order at 7:42 P.M. by Mayor Gottfried.
Macy and Deputy Clerk June Elger.
Salentine and Steinberg, City Attorney Don Molter, Atty. John
Ald. Dumke moved to approve the minutes of the previous meeting
held June 23, 1981. Seconded by Ald. Penovich, motion carried.
Atty. Molter advised that it would be necessary for him to leave
permission of the aldermen, Mayor Gottfried advised that several
tb,e meeting early and Atty. Macy would replace him. With the
resolutions would be taken out of order.
Resolution #111-81, entitled, Resolution Authorizing City of
Muskeno. Waukesha County. Wisconsin. Industrial Development Revenue
Bond ?Arlen R. Delp Project) Series.1981 (The "Bond"),'was read by
title only. Ald. Knudsen moved for adoption. Seconded by Ald.
Klenz. Upon roll call the motion carried unanimously
Resolution #112-81 - Resolution Deferring Payment of Assessment
for Costs of Sewer for the George Small Property Located at
Waukesha, State of Wisconsin. Ald. Salentine moved for adoption.

Seconded by Ald. Dumke. Following discussion regarding Atty. Molter's
suggestions for amendments, Ald. Knudsen moved to amend the third
from the last paragraph to change "ten (10) years from this date"
Seconded by Ald. Steinberg. Upon roll call the motion to amend
to "ten (10) years from the date the previous deferment expires".
carried unanimously. Ald. Salentine moved to amend the 2nd last
of years and under the terms and conditions provided in Resolution
paragraph to add after nine (9) percent per annum "for the number
1/19-71 as if this were the final resolution except that the new
rate of interest shall be from the date of expiration of the
motion to amend carried unanimously. Upon roll call Resolution
previous deferment". Seconded by Ald. Knudsen. Upon roll call the

Resolution f117-81 - Authorizing the City Attorney to Represent
the Big Muskego Lak
Flees Litigation. Ald. Dude moved for adoption. Seconded by
e Protection & Rehabilitation District in the
Ald. Radtke. Upon roll call the motion carried, with Aldermen
Dumke, Radtke, Salentine and Steinberg voting "yes" and Aldermen
Klenz, Knudsen and Penovich voting "no".
Resolution #119-81 - Resolution Acknowledging Petition and Ordering
Lake Protection & R.ehabilitation District. Ald. Salentine moved
Election of Three Commissioners at Annual Meeting of Little Muskego
for ado tion. Seconded by Ald. We. Since a recent law changed
memberstip of lake district commissions, Ald. Salentine took this
opportunity to thank the members of the Little Muskego Lake Advisory
Board for courtesies extended to him while serving as a member of
that board. Mayor Gottfried, on behalf of the commission, expressed
appreciation to Ald. Salentine for his activities on the board.
Upon roll call the motion carried 6 '!yes'' and L"no", with Ald.
Steinberg casting the only "no" vote.
At this time Atty. John Macy was introduced to replace Atty. Molter
for the remainder of the meeting.
COMMITTEE REPORTS
Ald. Salentine presented the reports of the Finance Comittc-e
meetings held Ju1.y 8 and July 14, 1981, and moved that same be
accepted and placed on file. Seconded by Ald. Radtke, motion
carried.
Ald. Penovich presented the report of the Public Works Committee
meeting held on 7/9/81.and moved that same be accepted and placed
on file. Seconded by A1.d. Knudsen, motion carried.

m Resolution #118-81 - Authorizing the Granting of $1200 for VFW Country Fair Days Parade. Ald. Radtke moved for adODtion. - Seconded by Ald-. Dumke. The Deputy Clerk read a letter from
Paul M. DeAngelis, Country Fair Chairman, requesting the City's
participation in co-sponsoring the parade portion of this event.
Ald Steinberg, Knudsen and Salentine spoke in opposition to the
request, and Ald. Radtke, Klenz and Dumke spoke in favor of the
request. Ald. Klenz moved to amend the resolution to remove all
reference to "fireworks". Seconded by Ald. Radtke. Upon roll call
the motion carried with Ald. Dumke, Klenz, Radtke and Salentine
voting "yes" and Ald. Knudsen, Penovich and Steinberg voting "no".
Ald. mudsen moved for a short recess at 9:40 P.M. Seconded by
Ald. Salentine. Upon roll call the motion carried unanimously. The
meeting reconvened at 9:47 P.M.
Ald. Klenz moved to defer action on Resolution #llS-Sl (As Amended)
for two weeks. Seconded by Ald. Penovich. bpon roll call the
motion to defer carried with Ald. Klenz, Knudsen, Penovich, Radtke
and Salentine voting "yes" and Ald. Dumke and Steinberg voting "no".

a Resolution #120-81 - Setting the Public Hearing Date to Conisder
Addition to Durham Meadows Planned Unit Development. Ald. Uenz
moved for adoption. Seconded by Ald. Knudsen. Upon roll call the
motion carrieh unanimously. (.Hearing to be August 11, 1981 at 7;15 PM.
Resolution #121-81 - Establishing Trafific Regulations. Ald. Knudsen
moved for adoption. Ald. Klenz seconded the motion. Upon roll call
the motion carried unanimously.
At this time, Ald. Salentine moved for the reconsideration of
Resolution 11113-81 because the Henry Kurth assessment will be paid
at the end of this year when the property is purchased for the
Tess Corners drainage project. Seconded by Ald. Radtke. Upon roll
call the motion to reconsider carried unanimously. Ald. Salentine
moved to Table Resolution #113-81. Seconded by Ald. Knudsen.
Upon roll call the motion carried unanimously.
LICENSE APPROVAL - Ald. Salentine moved for the approval of
berry, Robert Rogers, Tom Klass, Jill Bonney and Dennis Graebel.
Operator Licenses for Robert Jones, Rita Stout, Jacqueline Henne-
Seconded by Ald. Knudsen. Motion carried.
Ald. Salentine moved for the approval of Popcorn trucks for John
Murphy, Sherwin Beyer and James 4. Yourkovich. Seconded by Ald.
Knudsen. Motion carried.
Ald. Salentine moved for approval of Recycling (Junk) License for
James Kohne and Jack Clockner. Seconded by Ald. Dumke. Motion
carried.
Ald. Salentine moved for the approval of Gathering Permits for
St. Leonard's Festival for July 25 and 26, 1981; St. Paul's Church
July 17, 18, 19, 1981. Seconded by Ald. Dumke. motion carried.
for August 2, 1981; and Little Muskego Lake Association for
Ald. Salentine moved for the approval of Dump Refuse Hauling Per- mits for: Re1 Sanitation, Inc.; Farwest Disposa'k; Waste Management
of Milw.; Sanitary Disposal; Moeller Disposal, Inc.; Best Disposal;
Knudsen. Motion carried.
Ald. Salentine moved for.approva1 of the Waterbug's request to use
the dock on July 1.5, 18, 19, 22, 26 and 29th; August 2, 5, 9, 12,
16, 18, 23, 26 and 30th; and, September 2, 6, 7, 13 and 20th.
Seconded by Ald. Radtke. Motion carried.
