Also entine and Knudsen, City Clerk Stewart and Acting City Attorney William Reilly Ald Dumke moved to approve the minutes of the meeting held 7/8/80 and to have same placed on file. Seconded by Ald. Steinberg. Motion carried. IE COMMITTEE REPORTS _. Ald. Weed pres.ented the reports of the Finance Committee meetings held July 16 and 22, 1980 and moved that same be accepted and placed on file. Seconded by Ald. Radtke. Motion carried. Ald. Salentine presented the report of the Public Works meeting held 7/18/80 and moved that same be accepted and placed on file. Seconded by Ald. Weed. Motion carried. Ald. Van Lanen presented the report of the Public Welfare Committee meeting and moved that same be accepted and placed on file. Seconded by Ald. Weed. Motion carried. Ald. Knudsen presented the report of the Rules, Laws and Ordinance Cornittee meet:ing and moved that same be accepted and placed on file. (Meeting held 7/9/80). Seconded by Ald. Radtke. In answer to a question from Ald. Knudsen, Mayor Gottfried explained why Ordinance #388 did not appear on the agenda for this meeting (Cable TV Ordinance). Ald. Radtke presented the report of the Public Sewer Committee meeting held 7/21/80 and moved that same be accepted and placed on file. Seconded by Ald. Sa1ent:ine. Motion carried. The minutes of the Plan Commission meeting held 7/15/80 were received and placed on file. UNFINISHED BUSINESS Ordinance {I3851 - The Clerk gave the second reading of same, entitled, An Ordinance-to Amend Certain Provisions of Ch. 17 (Zoning Ord.) of the Municipal Code. (Re: Action by Common Council following recommendation of Plan Commission). Ald. Dumke moved for adoption. with Ald. Salentine voting “no”. Seconded by A1.d. Knudsen. Upon a roll call vote the motion carried Ordinance #39(1 - The Clerk gave the second reading of same, entitled, An Ord. to Am&nd Certain Provisions of Ch. 17 of the Municipal Code. Ald. Dumke moved for adoption. Seconded by Ald. Steinberg. (Re: Filing of petition for zoning change). Upon roll call the motion carried unanimously. 4 Ordinance #391. - The Clerk gave the second reading of same, entitled, An Ord. to Amckd Certain Provision of Ch. 17 of the Municipal Code. Ald. Dumke moved for adoption. Seconded by Ald. Radtke. Weed moved for adoption, Seconded by Ald. Radtke. LICENSE APPROVAL - Ald. Weed moved for the approval of Operators Ronald Zettel, Jacqueline Fleming, Douglas Boswein and Theodora Licenses for Lynn Mucha, Linda Martin, Randal Beck, Paul Lewandowski, Skodras. Seconded by Ald. Dumke. Motion carried. Ald. Weed moved for- the approval.-of Gathering Permit for .St. Leonard's Church for July 26 and 27, 1980. Seconded by Ald, Dumke. Motion carried. Ald. Weed moved for the approval of a Gathering Permit for the V.F.W. Post {I8171 for August 22, 23 and 24, 1980 (corner of Lannon Dr. and S.T.H. 24), and for St. Paul's Church for August 3, 1980 on the church property. Seconded by Ald. Radtke. Motion carried. x, COMMUNICATIONS AND MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS The Clerk read a petition for a zoning change from Thomas Berken Lannon from RS2 to RSM. Same referred to Plan Commission. Public Hearin to rezone a parcel of land cn the northeast corner of Briargate and Ald. Van Lanen requested to have Aldermen Steinberg and Knudsen be a part of the negotiating team between the Police Dept. and the City. ADJOURNMENT - Ald Weed moved to adjourn Seconded by Ald. Salentine.
