Weed presented the report of the Public Safety Cormnittee meeting held April 9, 1980 and moved that same be accepted and placed on file. Ald. Knudsen urged the.appointees of the new Safety Committee pursue the issue of installation of traffic control signals at the inter- was seconded by Ald. Following a lengthy discussion Muskego Lake Protection and Rehabilitation District was read, Ald. during which Attorney Arenz's resignation as Attorney for the Little Knudsen moved to defer action on Resolution 1\74-80 in order that the question of conflict of interest could be anqwered Seconded by Ald. Van Lanen. Upon a roll call vote on the motion to defer, Aldermen Dumke, Radtke, Salentine, Steinberg and Weed voted "no" Aldermen Knudsen and Van Lanen voted "aye". COMMUNICATIONS AND MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS - The Clerk Elect read a petition to rezone the parcel of the Allan Merfert property, 565 Commission A short discussion took place regarding the possible use of Tax increment Financing for the rehabilitation of Little Muskego Lake Ald Knudsen advised the Chamber of Comerce is again contemplating on conducting a "Clean and Green Week" in Muskego. He asked that each alderman act as chairman of his district in this endeavor. ADJOURNMENT - Ald. Weed moved to adjourn. Seconded by Ald. Salentine Motion carried.
