MINUTES OF MEETING HELD MARCH 25, 1980
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Gottfried at 7:40 P M. Also
present were Aldermen Ford, Tomczyk, Pietruszynski, Weed, Van Lanen
and Salentine, City Clerk Bowyer and Attorney Don Molter. (Ald. Dumke
was absent .)
Ald. Weed moved to approve the minutes of the meeting held 3/11/80
and have same placed on file. Seconded by Ald. Tomczyk. Motion carried.
COMMITTEE REPORTS
Ald. Tomczyk presented the reports of the Finance committee meetings
held 3/19/80 and 3/25/80 and moved that same be accepted and placed
on file. Seconded by Ald. Ford. Motion carried.
Ald. Weed presented the report of the Public Works Committee meeting
held 3/19/80 and moved that same be accepted and placed on file.
Seconded by Ald. Tomczyk. Motion carried.

COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE MAYOR'S OFFICE
The Clerk read Mayor Gottfried's proclamation proclaiming March 29,
1980, to be "Knight's of Columbus Day" in Muskego.

Resolution #46-80 - The Clerk read same, entitled, Authorizing Purchase
Ald. Tomczyk moved for adoption. Seconded by Ald. Weed. Upon a roll
call vote the motion carried unanimously.
Resolution 849-80 - The Clerk read same, entitled, Relocation Order
and Determination of Necessity (32.05) Re: Tess Corners Drainage Project). Ald. Tomczyk moved for adoption. Seconded by Ald. Weed.
Following discussion regarding the procedures to be used in acquiring
lands necessary (Kurth property) for the Tess Corners Drainage Project,
upon a roll call vote , Aldermen Ford, Pietruszynski, Salentine,
Tomczyk and Weed voted "aye". Ald Van Lanen voted "no". The motion
to adopt Resolution 1/49-80 carried.
Resolution 850-80 - The Clerk read same, entitled, Authorizing
Execution of Agreement Between Metro Sanitation and Parks & Recration
Department (Mill Valley Complex). Ald. Weed moved for adoption.
Seconded by Ald. Tomczyk. Upon a roll call vote on the motion to
adopt Resolution #50-80 the motion carried unanimously.

Resolution $151-80 - The Clerk read same, entitled, Authorizing the
0 Drive Extensions. Ald. Salentine moved for adoption. Seconded by
City's Consulting Engineers to Advertise for Bids for North Shore
Ald. Ford. Mayor Gottfried advised property owners involved will have
to sign a waiver of public hearing regarding the extension of sewers.
Upon a roll call vote the motion to adopt carried unanimously.
Resofution #52-80 - The Clerk read same, entitled, Accepting the Quote of Clty of New Berlin for Tor0 Sand-Pro (Park & Rec. Equipment) ($1515.00)
Ald. Weed moved for adoption. Seconded by Ald. Tomczyk. Upon roll
call the motion carried unanimously.
Resolution 853-80 - The Clerk read same, entitled, Recognizing the
Services of Kathy Horton. Ald. Salentine moved for adoption. Seconded
by Ald. Weed. At this time Mayor Gottfried presented KHthy Horton,
Librarian for the City of Muskego from 1974 to 1980, with a placque
motion to adopt Resolution 853-80 carried unanimously.

Initial Resolution Relating to Industrial Development Revenue Bond
Financing on Behalf of Paraclete Incorporated And/or Ward A. Swenson.
Ald. Ford moved for adoption. Seconded by Ald. Salentine. Mayor

Execution of Contract Between Teamsters Union Local #695 and the City
of Muskego (Police Department). Ald. Weed moved for adoption. Seconded
by Ald. Tomczyk. Ald. Weed moved to defer action on Resolution #56-80.
Seconded by Ald. Ford. Upon a roll call vote the motion to defer
action on Resolution $156-80 carried unanimously.
Ordinance 8382 - The Clerk gave the first reading of same, entitled,
Ordinance to Amend Chapter 8 of the Municipal Code (Re: Driveway
Construction).
Ordinance #383 - The Clerk gave the first reading of same, entitled,
amendments) .
VOUCHER APPROVAL - Ald. Tomczyk moved to approve payment of general
vouchers in the amount of $259,961.94 payable 3/25/80, Seconded by
Ald. Weed. Upon roll call the motion to pay the vouchers carried
unanimously
LICENSE APPROVAL - Ald. Tomczyk moved for the approval of Operators
License €or George Jaccpith. Seconded by Ald. Weed. Motion carried.
COMMUNICATIONS AND MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS - The Clerk read a communication
advising the trial date for the VandePlas case has been postponed
until sometime in April. Same placed on file,
