COMMON COUNCIL - CITY OF MUSKEG0
MINUTES OF EETING HELD September 25, 1979
The meeting was called to order at 7:45 P.M. by Mayor Gottfried.
Present were: Aldermen Ford, Tomczyk, Pietruszynski, Ihmke, Weed,
Salentine, City Attorney Hippenmeyer and Deputy Clerk Elger.

The agenda was corrected to delete Resolutions #187-79 and 11189-79,
and to add the first reading of Ordinance 11377.
Ald. Dumke moved for approval of the minutes of the meeting held on
September 11, 1979, seconded by Ald Tomczyk, motion carried.
CONMITTEE REPORTS
Ald. Tonczyk presented the report of the Finance Comittee of
Septmeber 25, 1979, and moved that same be accepted and placed on
file. Seconded by Ald. bke, motion carried.
Ald. Weed presented the report of the Public Works Cormittee reetinp
of September 20, 1979, and moved that sane be accepted and placed on
file. Seconded by Ald. Tomczyk. Ald. Dumke noted that he would
refer the cleaning of the drainage channels from Groveway Lane to
Big Muskego Lake back to the cormnittee for further review.
Upon a roll call vote the motion carried.
Ald. Tomczyk presented the report of the Public Safety Committee
meeting of September 20, 1979, and moved that same be accepted and
placed on file. Seconded by Ald. Weed, motion carried.
Ald. Weed presented the report of the Public Sewer Committee meting
of September 17, 1979, and moved that sane be accepted and placed
on file. Seconded by Ald. Dumke. Discussion was held concerning
the air testing of the Lake Denoon Sewers. Upon a roll call vote
the motion carried.
The minutes of the Plan Comission meeting of September 18, 1979
were received and placed on file.
KEW BUSINESS
Resolution #180-79 - The Deputy Clerk read same, entitled, Authori-
zing Ruekert & Mielke to Prepare Specifications for Forced. Hook-up
on Roger Dr. (R. 3-oncke) . Ald Dumke voved for adoption. Seconded
by Ald. Salentine, motion carried.
Resolution 8181-79 - The Deputy Clerk read same, entitled Establish"
ment of Policy Regarding Extension of Sewers - Lake Denoon. Ald.
Dumke moved for adoption. Seconded by Ald. Salentine. Discussion
took place regarding the proposed district boundary changes and their
affect on property owners with small divisions of land Ald. Salentinl
moved to amend the resolution to change the date in the last paragraph
from July 1, 1980 to May 1, 1980. Seconded by Ald. Dumke. Upon a
roll call vote on the motion to amend, Aldermen Dumke, Pietruszynski
and Salentine voted "aye". Aldermen Ford, Tomczyk and Weed voted "no"
There being a tie vote Mayor Gottfried voted no". The motion to
amend did not carry. Upon a roll call vote to adopt Resolution #181-7!
Aldermen Dumke, Ford, Salentine, Tomczyk and Weed voted "no". Ald.
Pietruszynski voted "aye". The motion to adopt Resolution 8181-79
did not carry.

in the amount of $99,193.00). Ald. Tomczyk rnoied for 'adoption.
Seconded by Ald. Ford. Motion carried.
Resolution #183-~79 - The Deputy Clerk read same, entitled Approval
of Renewal of Contract Between City of Muskego and E. M. Boerke,
Inc. (Industrial Park). Ald. Dumke rr?oved for adoption. Ald.
Tomczyk seconded the motion. City Attorney Hippenmeyer suggested
that under the Terms of Sale in the Contract the wordine should be
changed to "The sales price of each lot or acreage shall be 6eter-
rr.ined by -. the City, upon recommendation of the broker, but in no

case shall the minimum sale price of any lot or acreage be less
than $16,000 per acre". City Attorney Hippenmeyer was directed to
contact E. M Boerke to make the necessary change. For the record,
Ald. Dumke questioned the practice of paying additional brokerage
fees for re-selling property in the Industrial Park. Upon a roll
call vote, the motion to adopt Resolution #183-79 carried unanimously

Torrczyk moved for adoption. Seconded by Ald. Ford, motion carried.
Resolution 8188-79 - The Deputy Clerk read same, enti.tled Authori-

Ordinance' 11377 - An Ordinance to Amend the Zoning District Map of
Tomczyk moved to suspend the rules in order that this ordinacecould
the City of Muskego (.Zangerle property - R-1 and R-2 to 1-2). Ald.
be acted upon at this meeting. Seconded by Ald. Salentine. Upon
roll call the motion to suspend the rules carried unanimously. The
Deputy Clerk gave the first reading of same. Ald. Tomczyk moved
to suspend the rules to permit the second reading of Ordinance
8377. Seconded by Ald. Ford. Upon roll call the motion to suspend
reading of the ordinance by title only. Ald Tomczyk moved for
the rules carried unanimously. The Deputy Clerk gave the second
adoption. Seconded by Ald. Salentine. Upon a roll call vote the
motion carried unanimously.
VOUCHER APPROVAL - Ald. Dumke moved for the approval of payment of
vouchers in the amount of $109,446.43, payable 9/25/79. Seconded by
Ald. Tomczyk. Upon roll call the motion carried unanimously.
LICENSE APPROVAL - Ald Dumke moved for the approval of Operator's
Licenses for Cheryl Giesegh, Kay Albers, Elaine Schlei, David Policht
Donna Nattinger, Karen Gleason and James Siegel. Seconded by Ald.
Tomczyk, motion carried.
Ald. Tomczyk moved for the approval of operation of popcorn truck for
Keith Dahl. Seconded by Ald. Ford. Motion carried.
Ald. Tomczyk moved for the approval of Gathering Permits for 36 date5
for St. Leonard's Holy Name Society and for the Icetronauts Snowmobil
Club for October 14. 1979 at the corner of Woods Rd. and Racine Ave. a Seconded by Ald. Duke. Motion carried.
CITY OFFICIAL'S REPORTS - The City Attorney reported on pending
litigation of the city.
Mayor Gottfried advised that on October 3rd the Finance Committee
would begin its budget hearings with various department heads of the
city. He invited all aldermen to attend those hearings.
ADJOURNMENT - Ald. Tomczyk moved to adjourn. Seconded by Ald. Weed.
