ccm19790911COMMON COUNCIL - CITY OF' MUSKEGO MINUTES OF MEETING HELD September 11, 1979 The meeting was called to order at 8:50 P.M., by Mayor Gottfried. Present were: Aldermen Weed, Van Lanen, Tomczyk, Dumke, Salentine, City Attorney Hippenmeyer and City Clerk Bowyer. Absent: Ald. Ford. The first order of business was to conduct an election of an alderman for District 1, to succeed Mark Pienkos. The balloting was conducted in accordance with S.S. i9.88, the first candidate receiving three votes a '@ to be declared elected. The four candidates were as follows: Cheryl Feldhausen, Gerald Justin, Kenneth Pietruszynski and Kenneth Steinberg. On the third ballot, Kenneth Pietruszynski was declared elected and was administered the oath of office by City Attorney Hippenmeyer. Ald. Dumke moved for approval of the minutes of the meeting held on August 28, 1979, seconded by Ald. Tomczyk and motion carried. COMMITTEE REPORTS Ald. Tomczyk presented the reports of the Finance Conunittee meetings held on September 5th and llth, 1979, and moved that same be accepted and placed on file, motion seconded by Ald. Dumke and motion carried. Waukesha Co. Board Supervisors George Guhr, Frank Narlock and Bruce Boswell of Boswell Assoc. Architects, Inc., appeared before the Common Council to discuss and present plans and renderings of the proposed Beach House Building to be located in the Muskego Park. The estimated cost of the project is $175,000.00, building to be 4,447 sq. ft., in area, with construction to begin in March of 1980 and anticipated completion, sometime during the summer. The main pur- pose of the appearance of the two supervisors was to ask the council for their support in the adoption of Resol. 179-79, entitled, "Urging the County Board of Supervisors to Approve the Beach House in the Muskego County Park". NEW BUSINESS Resolution 11169-79 - The Clerk read same, entitled, Approval of Certified Survey Map - E. Kraklow. Ald. Salentine moved, as seconded by Ald. Tomczyk, for adoption and upon roll call vote, motion carried. Resolution #170-79 - The Clerk read same, entitled, Approval of Certified Survey Map - F. Nolting. Ald. Salentine moved for adoption, as seconded by Ald. Van Lanen. Ald. Dumke moved, as seconded by Ald. Tomczyk, that said resolution be amended by adding, Be It Further Resolved, that this approval be subject to the developers providing additional necessary easements on Parcel 83. Upon a voice vote the amendment to Resol. 8179-79 was adopted. Upon a roll call vote the motion to adopt, Resol. #179-79, As Ammded, carried. Resolution #171-79 - The Clerk read same, entitled, Resolution Creating, Describing and Making Certain Findings Concerning Tax Incremental Dumke, for adoption, and upon roll call vote, motion carried. Resolution #172-79 - The Clerk read same, entitled, Resolution Creating, Describing and Making Certain Findings Concerning Tax Incremental Salentine, for adoption, and upon roll call vote, motion carried. Resolution #173-79 - The Clerk read same, entitled, Resolution Creating Describing and Making Certain Findings Concerning Tax Incremental Dist 83, City of Muskego. Ald. Weed moved, as seconded by Ald. Van Lanen, for adoption, and upon roll call vote, motion carried. Resolution W174-79 - The Clerk read same, entitled, Resolution Creating Describing and Making Certain Findings Concerning Tax Incremental Dist #4, City of Muskego. Ald. Salentine moved, as seconded by Ald. Van Lanen, for adoption, and upon roll call vote, motion carried. Resolution #175-79 - The Clerk read same, entitled, Resolution Creating Describing and Making Certain Findings Concerning Tax Incremental Dist #5, City of Muskego. Ald. Weed moved, as seconded by Ald. Salentine, for adoption, and upon roll call vote, motion carried. Resolution 8176-79 - The Clerk read same, entitled, Resolution Creating Describing and Making Certain Findings Concerning Tax Incremental Dist #6, City of Muskego. Ald. Van Lan moved, as seconded by Ald. Weed, for adoption, and upon roll call vote, motion carried. a Resolution #177-79 - The Clerk read same, entitled, Resolution Creating Describing and Making Certain Findings Concerning Tax Incremental Dist W7, City of Muskego. Ald. Weed moved, as seconded by Ald. Van Lanen, for adoption, and upon roll call vote, motion carried. Resolution 11178-79 - The Clerk read same, entitled, Resolution Authoriz- ing Exchange of Property Between City of Muskego and William Retzlaff. Ald. Salentine moved, as seconded by Ald. Tomczyk, for adoption and upon a roll call vote, motion carried. Resolution 11179-79 - The Clerk read same, entitled, Resolution Urging the County Board of Supervisors to Approve a Beach House in Muskego County Park. Ald, Tomczyk moved, as seconded by Ald. Van Lanen, for adoption and upon a roll call vote, motion carried. VOUCHER APPROVAL Ald. Dude moved, as seconded by Ald. Tomczyk, that vouchers be approved in the amount of $142,576.18 and upon a roll call vote, motion carried. LICENSE APPROVAL I, Ald. Tomczyk moved, as seconded by Ald. Dumke, that Operator's Licenses be approved for Jeffrey Homing, Warren Osborn, Marcia Chic, Wayne Wardin, Barbara Wadzinski, Jill Emmett, Warner Stills 6: Dolores Deja, and motion carried. CITY OFFICIAL'S REPORTS The City Clerk read the Building Inspector's Report for the month of August, 1978 and same placed on file. COMMUNICATIONS The City Clerk read correspondence received from Ald.
