CITY OF MUSKEG0 0 MINUTES OF MEETING HELD APRIL 10, 1979
The meeting vas called to order by Mayor Jerome Gottfried at 7:55 P.M.
Wallner, City Clerk Bowyer and City Attorney Buckley. Aldermen Ford
Also present were Aldermen Pienkos, Tomczyk, Van Lanen, Dumke and
and Schaumberg were absent.
Ald. Pienkvs moved to approve the minutes of the meeting held 3/27/79
and moved that same be accepted and placed on file Seconded by Ald.
Dumke. Motion carried.
COMMITTEE REPORTS
Ald. Dumke presented the report of the Finance Committee meeting held
held 4/4/79 and moved that Same be accepted and placed on file. Sec-
onded by Ald. Pienkos. Motion carried.
Ald. Tomczyk presented the report of the Public Works committee meeting
held 4/5/79 and moved that same be accepted and placed on file. Sec-
onded by Ald. Pienkos. Motion carried
NEW BUSINESS
Resolution 864-79 - The Clerk read same, entitled, Accepting the Report
of the Board of Canvassers for the April 3, 1979, Spring Election Ald.
Pienkos moved for adoption. Seconded by AUd. Tomczyk. Upon a roll call
vote the motion to adopt carried.
Resolution #65-79 - The Clerk read same, entitled, Authorizing Refund
'for James Van Skyhock (Sewer Lateral - F Dist. $240 00). Ald. Tomczyk
moved for adoption. Seconded by Ald. Van Lanen. Upon roll call the
motion carried with Ald. Wallner voting "no".
Resolution 866-79 - The Clerk read same, enti.tled, A-uthorizing the
Advertising ot Bids For Official Newspaper for City of Muskego. Ald.
Pienkos moved for adoption. Seconded by Ald. Tomczyk Upon roll call
the motion carried unanimously.
Resolution 867-79 - The Clerk read same, entitled, Directing the
Attorney to Draft an Ordinznce to Amend the Zoning District Map of
the City (RS-2 00s tc 1-1) Ald. Dumke moved for adoption Seconded
by Ald. Tomczyk. A short dicussion took place with Mayor Gottfried 0 explaining what type of business could be located on the parcel in
question if it would remain RS-2 (00s). Upon a roll call vote the
motion to adopt carried with Ald. Van Lanen voting "no".
Resolution 1/68-79 - The Clerk read same, entitled, Approval of
Tomczyk moved for adoption. Seconded by Ald. Wallner. In answer to
Developer's Agreement for Lake Meadows Subdivision (S. Potrykus) Ald.
questions from Aldermen I'ienkos and Van Lanen', Mr.Robert Gassert,
proposed Water Trust and the financial guarantee to be used for the
proposed amenities for the Lake Meadows Subdivision. Upon a roll call
vote the motion to adopt Resolution #68-79 carried unanimously.
Ordinance 8370 - The Clerk gave the first reading of same, entitled, An Ordinance to Amend the Zoning District Map of the City of Muskego
(R-1 and R-2 to RS-2 and A) (Lake Denoon Area)

Ordinance 8371 - The Clerk gave the first reading of same, entitled,
Ordinance to Amend the Zoning District Map of the City of Muskego
ES-2 to RS-2 00s Overlay - J. Weisner).
At this time 8:30 P.M. Mayor Gottfried declared a recess and the
r.eeting reconvened at 8:35 P.M.
Resolution 1/69-79 - Extending an Invitation to the Elkins, West
would interfere with the adoption of same. Seconded by Ald. Wallner.
Virginia 4-H Club. Ald. Tomczyk moved to suspend the rules that

imously. At this time Mr. Fred Washa, Leader of the Muckey 4-H Club
and twp young people who will be part of a bus tour traveling to
Elkins, West Virginia end Vashington D.C. over Easter vacationeed Mr
Washa reviewed details of the trip for the Mayor and Aldermen. The
Clerk read a communication from Mayor Gottfried directed to the
4-H Leader in Elkins, W.V. expressing gratitude to his organization
for their hospitality. Ald. Tcmczyk moved to adopt Resolution 1/69-79,
seconded by Ald. Wallner. Upon roll call the motion czrried unanimously
LICENSE APPROVAL - Ald. Pienkos moved for the approval of Operator's
Licenses for Dale Bahringer, Patricia Platz, Kathleen Gerth, Arlene
Schanke and Leonard Vandervest. Seconded by Ald. Tomczyk. Motion
carried. 1,
COMMUNICATIONS AKD MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS - Ald. Pienkos, Chairman
of the Police Building Committee advised the Police Department is
planning open house for their new building on Sunday, May 20, 1979.
Further details as to hours, etc. will be arinounced later.
Ald. Pienkos advised therE will be a meeting cf the Police Building
Committee on Tuesday, May 1, at 7:OO P.M
ADJOURNMENT - Ald. Pienkos moved to adjourn. Seconded by Ald.
Tomczyk. Motior: carried. The meeting adjourned at 8:50 P.M.
