MINUTES OF MEETING HELD MARCH 13, 1979

The meeting was called to order by Mayor Jerome Gottfried at 8:lO P.M.
Also present were Aldermen Ford, Pienkos, Tomczyk, Van Lanen and
Dumke and Wallner were absent.
Ald. Schaumberg moved to approve the minutes of the meeting held
2/27/79, as mailed Seconded by Ald Tomczyk. Motion carried.
Committee Reports
Ald. Schaumberg presented the report of the Finance Committee meeting
held March 7th and March 13, 1979, and moved that same be accepted
and placed on file. Seconded by Ald. Tomczyk. Motion carried.
Ald. Tomczyk presented the report of the Public Works Committee
meeting held 3/8/79 and moved that same be accepted and placed on
file. Seconded by Ald. Schaumberg. Motion carried.
Ald. Ford presented the report of the Public Welfare Cormnittee meeting
Seconded by Ald Pienkos. Motion carried.
The minutes of the Plan Commission meeting held 3/6/79 were received
and placed on file.
Schaumberg, City Clerk Bowyer and City Attorney Buckley Aldermen
0 held on 2/28/79 and moved that same be accepted and placed on file.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS
Ordinance $1368 - An Ordinance Creating Chapter 12.03 of the Municipal
C&of the City of Muskego, Regulating Direct Sellers. This ordinance
is on the floor, however, it was felt that because certain sections
needed clarification, Ald. Pienkos moved to again defer action on same
until the next meeting of the Council Seconded by Ald. Tomczyk. Upon
a roll call vote the motion to defer carried unanimously.
Resolution 842-79 - Approval of Preliminary Plat - Denoon View. As
this resolution was on the floor, upon a roll call vote the motion
to adopt carried with Ald. Van Lanen voting "no".
COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE MAYOR'S OFFICE
The Clerk read a proclamation, dated 3/13/79, proclaiming March as
"Youth Art Monday" in the City of Muskego.
NEW BUSINESS
Resolution $145-79 - The CJ.erk read same, entitled, Acceptance of Offer
to Purchase Parcel of Land in the City's Industrial Park (1 06 acres -
$17,100.00). Ald. Pienkos moved for adoption. Seconded by Ald.
Tomczyk. (Land purchased by Donald Miller). Upon a roll call vote the
motion to adopt carried unanimously.
Resolution $146-79 - The Clerk read same, entitled, Setting Public
Rearing Date for Rezoning - Donald Schroeder - RS-2 (00.5) to 1-1

(Triangular parcel lying between Electric Co. right-,of-way and S.T.H.
Public Hearing Date to be April 10, 1979, at 7:15 P.M. Upon a roll
call vote the motion to adopt Resolution $146-79 carried unanimously
Resolution $147-79 - The Clerk read same, entitled, Approval of Final
Plat - Woodland Estates (Town of Vernon). Ald Tomczyk moved for
adoption. Seconded by Ald. Schaumberg. Upon roll call the motion to

Resolution #50-79 - The Clerk read same, entitled, Authorizing Refund
moved for adoption. Seconded by Ald. Ford. Upon roll call the motion
tor Erroneous Assessment (Henry Kurth Property). Ald. Schaumberg
carried unanimously. (Refund to Mr. Kurth being $421 95)

Maintenance Agreement Between City of Muskego and Burroughs Corporation. ~
Resolution #51-79 - The Clerk read same, entitled, Authorizing
Ald. Schaumbere moved for adoation. Seconded bv Ald. Ford. Upon roll
call the motiog carried unanimously.
Resolution $152-79 - The Clerk read same, entitled, Directing the City
Attorney to Draft an Ordinance to Amend the Zoning District Map of the
City of Muskego (Lake Denoon Area) R-1 and R-2 to RS-2 and A Ald
Lanen moved to defer action on this resolution until the next meeting
Schaumberg moved for adoption. Seconded by Ald. Tomczyk. Ald Van
of the Council. Seconded by Ald. Tomczyk. Upon a roll call vote the
motion to defer carried
VOUCHER APPROVAL - Ald. Schaumberg moved for the approval of payment of vouchers in t-he amount of $166.783.28 payable 3/13/79 Seconded
by A1.d. Tomczyk. Motion carried..
LICENSE APPROVAL - Ald. Schaumberg moved for the approval of Operator's
Licenses for William Korallis, Sandra Wrobbel, Sandra Strahota, Paul
Gray and Nancy Sokolowski Seconded by Ald. Van Lanen. Motion carried

Leonard's Home and School for April 28, 1979. Seconded by Ald. Pienkos.
CITY OFFICIAL'S REPORTS - City Attorney Buckley advised that the city
has initiated a lawsuit on its own regarding the flooding problem cn
South Denoon Road.
The Clerk read the Fuilding Inspection Report indicating two dwellings
and total construction in the aEount of $161,150.00 for the month of
February, 1979. Same placed on file.
COMMUNICATIONS AND MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS - The Clerk read a claim
From William Exards in the amount of $75 17 for damages to car. Same
referred to City Attorney and city's insurance carrier.
Mayor Gottfried advised the aldermen of a convention for lake district
commissioners to be held in Stevens Point on March 25 and 30th, 1975.
Ald Schaumberg advisc!d the Mayor and aldermen the city's Humane
Officer had indicated to him his intent to resign his position.

ADJOURNMENT - Ald. Schaumberg moved to adjourn. Seconded by Ald
Pienkos. Motion carried. The r.:.eeting adjourned at 9 10 P.M.
