ccm19790227COMMON COUNCIL CITY OF MUSKECO MINUTES OF MEETING HELD FEBRUARY 27, 197s The meeting was called to order by Acting Mayor Paul J. Schaumberg at 7 50 P.M. Also present were Aldermen Dumke, Ford, Pienkos, Tomczyk, Van Lanen and Wallner and City Clerk Bowyer. * Ald. Ford moved to approve the minutes of the previous meeting held February 13, 1979, as mailed. Seconded by Ald. Dumke. Motion carried. COMMITTEE REPORTS Ald. Ford presented the report of the Finance Committee meetings held 2/21/79 and 2/27/79 and moved that same be accepted and placed on file. Seconded by Ald. Dumke. Motion carried. Ald. Tomczyk presented the report of the Public Works Committee meeting held on 2/22/79 and moved that same be accepted and placed on file Seconded by Ald. Ford. Motion carried. meeting held 2/14/79 and moved that same be accepted and placed on Ald Pienkos presented the report of the Rules, Laws & Ordinance Committee file. Seconded by Ald. Wallner. Motion carried. meeting held 2/14/79 and moved that same be accepted and placed on Ald Van Lanen presented the report of the Public Safety Committee file. Seconded by Ald. Wallner. Motion carried. The minutes of the Plan Commission meeting held 2/20/79 were received and placed on file. UNFINISHED BUSINESS Resolution #31-79 - Establishing Sewer Charge for Duplex (R. Olson). .OO) . As this resolution was on the floor from thc previous meeting, upon a roll call vote to adopt the motion carried unanimously. Ordinance $1368 - The Clerk gave the second reading of same, entitled, An Ordinance Creating Chapter 12.03 of the Municipal Code of the City of Muskego, Regulating Direct Sellers. Ald. Pienkos moved to adopt on Ordinance $1368 until the next meeting to provide further clarification same, seconded by Ald. Van Lanen. Ald. Pienkos moved to defer action to defer the motion carried unanimously. with the City Attorney. Seccnded by Ald. Tomczyk. Upon a roll call vote e NEW BUSINESS Wishes to Jean Luther on Her Retirement. Ald. Pienkos moved for Resolution 837-79 - The Clerk read same, entitled, Extending Best adoption Seconded by Ald. Tomczyk. Upon a roll call vote the motion to adopt carried unanimously. Resolution $138-79 - The Clerk read same, entitled, Authorizing Purchase of Excess Federal Property. Ald. Ford moved for adoption Seconded by Aldl Pienkos. Upon roll call the motion carried unanimously. Resolution 839-79 - The Clerk read same, entitled, Approval of Certified 0 Survey Map (Baehring) . Ald. Dumke moved for adoption. Seconded by Ald. Tomczyk. Ford moved for the approval of payment of Motion carried upon roll call vote. general vouchers in the amount of $208,839.85. Seconded by Ald. Dumke. LICENSE APPROVAL - Ald. Ford moved for the approval of Class "B" F'ermented Malt Beverage and Intoxicating Liquor License for Steven Oschmann. Seconded by Ald. Dumke. Motion carried. Ald. Ford moved for the approval of Class "B" Fermented Malt Beverage and Intoxicating Liquor License for Nancy Chic and Elizabeth Filter as partners, for former Tome Casino, subject to expiration of 15-day advertising period Seconded by Ald. Dude Motion carried. Pld. Ford moved for the approval of Operator's Licenses for Thomas Hagerty, Jack Mages, Jean Johnston, Sherri Olinger and Colleen Kuffel, subject to favorable police report. Seconded by Ald. Tomczyk Motion carried. - COMMUNICATIONS AND MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS The Clerk read a petition from James and Darlene Wiesner requesting rezoning in the area of Janesville Rd. and Racine Ave. from RS2 to B2. and she also read a petiti~on from Hellie Brodell requesting rezoning Dumke moved the public hesring date for the Viesner rezoning be set from R-1 to A for property owned by him in the Lake Denoon area. Ald 1979 at 7:30 P.M. Seconded by Ald. Van Lanen. Motion carried for March 27, 1979 at 7 15 P.M. and for the Brodell rezoning March 27, The Clerk read a petition received from Chris Youssi requesting legal lot status for Lot 5 and the south 30' of Lot 4, Block 12, Muskego Shores Subdivision.
