Schaumberg moved to approve the minutes of the previous meeting held 1/9/79, as mailed Seconded by Ald. Tomczyk Motion carried. e COMMITTEE REPORTS Ald. Schaumberg presented the report of the Finance Committee meetings held 1/17/79 and 1/23/79 and moved that same be accepted and placed on file. Seconded by Ald. Dumke. Motion carried. Ald. Tomczyk presented the report of the Public Works Committee meeting held 1/18/79 and moved that same be ?.ccepted and placed on file Seconded by Ald Schaumberg. Motion carried. Ald. Safety Committee, upon a roll call vote the motion to adopt carried COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE MAYOR’S OFFICE members of the Architectural Sub-Committee of the Plan Commission Mayor Gottfried advised that on Tuesday, January 30, 1979, the and representatives of the Muskego Chamber of Commerce will meet in the city hall at 7:30 P.M to review guidelines for a proposed sign ordinance for the city. He invited all aldermen to attend that meeting. At this time, Mr. Gary Stewart, representing Operation Comeback, man of the Big Muskego-Bass Bay Protection and Rehabilitation District. presented a check in the amount of $500.00 to Mayor Gottfried, Chair- Mr. Stewart advised the check represented ”starter funds” to help offset incidental expenses that might occur until the date of the annual meeting of the district. NEW BUSINESS Resolution 1/8-79 - The Clerk read same, entitled, Nomination of Inspectors by Mayor of the City of Muskego. Ald. Pienkos moved for adoption. Seconded by Ald. Tomczyk. Upon roll call the motion to adopt carried unanimously. Resolution 1/9-79 - The Clerk read same, entitled, Denial of Final Plat of Holiday Park. Ald. Dumke moved for adoption. Ford moved for adoption. Seconded by Ald. Van Lanen and Wallner voting "no", Tomczyk. Upon a roll call vote the motion carried with Aldermen Resolution 812-79 - The Clerk read same, entitled, Requesting Traffic Study of S.T H. 24 by Wisconsin Dept. of Transportation Ald. Tomczyk moved for adoption. Seconded by Ald. Pienkos. Upon a roll call vote the motion to adopt carried unanimously. Sci-.aumberg"moved for adoption. Seconded by Ald Tomczyk Upon a roll call vote the motion carried with Ald. Van Lanen casting a dissenting vote. VOUCHER APPROVAL - Ald. Schaumberg moved to approve payment of vouchers in the amount of $235,064.31, payable 1/23/79. Seconded by Ald. Tomczyk. Motion carried. LICENSE APPROVAL - Ald. Schaumberg moved to approve Operator's Licenses for Barbara Cassel, Denise Matke, Kenneth Murphy, Dean Murphy, Janice Knapp and Mitch Strozok. Seconded by Ald. Dumke. Motion carried. Resolution $117-79 - At this time, ALd. Ford moved to suspend the rules by Ald. Tomczyk. Upon a roll call vote the motion to suspend the rules that would interfere with the adoption of Resolution #17-79 Seconded carried unanimously. The Deputy Clerk read the resolution, entitled, Resolution Revoking the Class "B" Fermented Malt Beverage and Intoxicat- ing Liquor License Held by Robert Palokonis. Ald. Schaumberg moved to adopt Resolution 1/17-79, seconded by Ald. Wallner In answer to Ald. Pienkos, Mayor Gottfried reviewed the complaint against Mr. be withdram an d that he be permitted to abstain from voting on Palokonis. Ald. Schaumberg requested that his motion to adopt the resolution. With permission of his second by Ald. Wallner, Ald. Resolution 1/17-79 Seconded by Ald. Wallner. Upon a roll call vote Schaumberg's request was granced. Ald.
