MINUTES OF MEETING HELD ON DECEMBER 5, 1978

The meeting was called to order by Mayor Gottfried at 7:22 P.M. Also
present were Aldermen Dumke, Ford, Tomczyk, Van Lanen, Pienkos and
Wallner and City Clerk Bette J. Bowyer. Ald. Schaumberg was absent.
NEW BUSINESS
Resolution #236-78 - The Clerk read same, entitled, Approval of 1979
City of Muskego Capital Budget. Ald. Pienkos moved for adoption.
secbnded by Aid. Tomczyk. ild. Pienkos moved to delete the-words,
vote the motion to amend carried. Upon a roll call vote the motion
Projects, Schmidt Park. Seconded by Ald. Van Lanen. Upon a voice
to adopt Resolution 11236-78, As Amended, carried unanimously.
Ordinance #367 - Appropriating the Necessary Funds for the Operation
of the Government and Administration of the City of Muskego for the
Year 1979. Ald. Pienkos moved to suspend the rules that would interfere
with the adoption of this ordinance at this evening's meeting. Seconded
by Ald. Wallner. Upon a roll call vote the motion to suspend the rules
carried unanimously. The Clerk read the ordinance. Mayor Gottfried
reviewed the various tax rates (County, State, WCTI and Muskego-Norway
Schools) giving a final net tax rate of $29.00 per $1,000.00 of assessed
valuation. The Clerk gave the second reading of Ordinance #367. Ald.
Duke moved for adoption. Seconded by Ald. Tomczyk. Upon a roll call
vote the motion to adopt carried unanimously. CBudget amount $2,698,339.19;
ADJOURNMENT - Ald. Pienkos moved to adjourn. Seconded by Ald. Van
Lanen. Motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 1:43 P.M.
