@ MINUTES OF MEETING HELD OCTOBER 24, 1978
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Gottfried at 8:05 P.M. Also
present were Aldermen Dumke, Pienkos, Ford, Tomczyk, Van Lanen and
Yqlneg Cit A torney John Buckley and City Clerk Bette Bowyer. Ald
Ald. Dumke moved to approve the minutes of meeting held October 10,
1978, as mailed. Seconded by Ald Pienkos. Motion carried.
Committee Reports
Ald. Dumke presented the reports of the Finance Committee meetings
held on 10/11/78, 10/18/78 and 10/24/78 and moved that same be
accepted and placed on file Seconded by Ald. Tomczyk. Motion carried.
Ald. Tomczyk presented the report of the Public Works Conunittee
meeting held 10/19/78 and moved that same be accepted and placed on
file. Seconded by Ald. Dumke. Motion carried.
Committee meeting held 10/11/78 and moved that same be accepted and
Ald. Tomczyk presented the report of the Rules, Laws & Ordinance
placed on file. Seconded by Ald. Wallner. Motion carried.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS
An Ordinance to Amend Section 15.12 of the Municipal Code of the City
Ordinance /I359 - The Clerk gave the second reading of same, entitled,
Pienkos moved for adoption. Seconded by Ald. Tomczyk. Upon a roll
(Re: Qualifications of applicants of Electrical Licensing Board. Ald.
call vote the motion to adopt Ordinance 8359 carried unanimously.
And Ordinance to Create Section 30.51 of the Municipal Code of the
Ordinance #360 - The Clerk gave the second reading of same, entitled,
City (Re: Change of Occupancy.) Ald. Pienkos moved for adoption.
Seconded by Ald Wallner. Ald. Pienkos advised the purpose of this
ordinance is to have a member of the city's Building Inspection Dept.

code violations exist. Upon a roll call vote the motion to adopt
Ordinance $1360 carried unanimously.
At this time, 8:25 P.M. Mayor Gottfried declared a recess in order to
have City Attorney John Buckley administer the Oath of Office to
newly appointed Chief of Police Richard Scholz. The meeting recon-
vened at 8 35 P.M.
NEW BUSINESS
Resolution j1208-78 - The Clerk read same, entitled, Approval of Final
Plat - Heather Ridge Estate Add. #2 (Town of Vernon). Ald. Dumke
moved for adoption. Seconded by Ald Tomczyk. Upon roll call the
motion carried unanimously.
Resolution 8209-78 - The Clerk read same, entitled, Approval of Final
seconded by Ald. Ford. Upon roll call the motion to adopt carried unanimously.

Resolution #211-78 - The Clerk read same, entitled, Authorizing
Extension of Time for Plan Commission to Consider Ordinances 11357 and
#358 (Re: Rezoning request of S. Potrykus and D. Cunningham). Ald.
Dumke moved for adoption. Seconded by Ald. Tomczyk. (60 day exten-
sion). Upon a roll call vote the motion carried unanimously.
Resolution 8210-78 - The Clerk read same, entitled, Approval of Revised
Preliminary Plat (Sunset Farms, Add #1 - Town of Vernon). Ald. Dumke
moved for adoption, seconded by Ald. Tomczyk. Upon roll call the motion
to adopt carried unanimously.
Resolution #212-78 - The Clerk read same, entitled, Transfer of Funds
(Building Inspection) Ald. Dumke moved for adoption, seconded by Ald.
Pienkos. (amount transferred - $435.00). Upon roll call the motion
carried unanimously.
Resolution 8213-78 - The Clerk read same, entitled, Authorizing
Execution of Contract With David Schreiber & Associates (Re: Develop-
Tomczyk. Upon roll call the motion carried unanimously.
Resolution #214-78 - The Clerk read same, entitled, Authorizing
Agreement Between the City and the Auditing Firm of Conley, McDonald & Sprague (City's General Fund). Ald. Dumke moved for adoption.
Seconded by Ald. Ford. Upon a roll call vote the motion carried with
Ald. Wallner voting "no".

roll call vote the motion to adopt carried unanimously.
Resolution #217-78 - The Clerk read same, entitled, Authorizing Sewer
Lateral Refund (Alvin Gibson - $280.00). Ald. Tomczyk moved for
carried unanimously.
Resolution 8218-78 - The Clerk read same, entitled, Directing the
City Attorney to Draft an Ordinance to Amend the Zoning District Map
of the City (Re RSM and RS3 of proposed Valley Square and RSM of
Adams, Pufall and Kelly properties to RS2). Ald. Dumke moved for
adoption. Seconded by Ald. Tomczyk. Upon a roll call vote the
motion to adopt carried with Ald. Van Lanen voting "no".

VOUCHER APPROVAL - Ald Dumke moved for the approval of payment of
general vouchers in the amount of $262,308.33, payable 10/24/78. Seconded by Ald. Ford. Upon roll call the motion carried unanimously.
License for Debra Kasch, William Giesfeldt, Ted Blattner, Judith McElroy
LICENSE APPROVAL - Ald. Dumke moved for the approval of Operators
Motion carried.

COMMUNICATIONS AND MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS
The Clerk read a communication from herself, directed to the Mayor,
of protest filed 10/10/78 in accordance with Sec. 3.06 (G) of the
Council and Plan Commission, dated 10/12/78, certifying the petition
Zoning Ordinance is in proper form and complies with all requirements
Petition was filed by Emma Benke, W203 S10532 N. Shore Dr., Muskego.
Same placed on file.
ADJOURNMENT - Ald. Pienkos moved to adjourn. Seconded by Ald. Tomczyk.
Motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 9:25 P,M.
