present were Aldermen Dumke, Pienkos, Van Lanen, Tomczyk, Wallner and
Schaumberg, and City Clerk Bowyer. Ald. Ford arrived at 8 10 P.M.
Ald. Schaumberg moved to accept the minutes of the previous meeting "@ held 4/25/78, as mailed. Seconded by Ald. Tomczyk. Motion carried.
Ald. Schaumberg presented the report of the Finance Committee meeting
by Ald. Dumke, motion carried.

Ald. Tomczyk presented the report of the Public Works Committee meeting
held 5/4/78 and moved that same be accepted and placed on file. Sec-
onded by Ald. Wallner. Motion carried.
Ald. Tomczyk presented the report of the Public Sewer Committee meeting
held 5/4/78 and moved that same be accepted and placed on file. Sec-
onded by Ald. Dumke. Motion carried. 0 Ald. Van Lanen presented the report of the Public Welfare Committee
meeting held 4/26/78 and moved that same be accepted and placed on
file. Seconded by Ald. Tomczyk. Motion carried.
The minutes of the Plan Commission meeting held 5/2/78 were received
and placed on file.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS
Resolution #74-78 - Ald. Schaumberg moved for the reconsideration
of Resolution #74-78, entitled, Authorizing Execution of Quit Claim
Deed for Marlan Meadows Subdivision. Seconded by Ald. Tomczyk. Upon
Ald. Van Lanen casting a dissenting vote. Upon a roll call vote to
a roll call vote on the motion to reconsider the motion carried with
to adopt Resolution #74-78 the motion carried unanimously.
COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE MAYOR'S OFFICE
The Clerk read a proclamation proclaiming the week of May 14 thru May
20, 1978 as "Municipal Clerk's Week".
The Clerk read a proclamation from the Mayor urging citizens to
support the sale of V.F.W. Buddy Poppies.
The Clerk read a proclamation proclaiming the Month of May, 1978, as
American Legion Auxiliary Poppy Month in our community.
Mayor Gottfried advised that a public hearing on the proposed 1978
City of Muskego Capital Budget would be held on May 23, 1978 at 7:15 PM.
At this time Mayor Gottfried named the standing committees of the
Common Council as follows

NEW BUSINESS
Resolution #90-78 - The Clerk read same, entitled, Honoring Muskego's
AFS Student - Leila Antunez Ald. Ford moved for adoption, seconded
by Ald. Schaumberg Mayor Gottfried introduced Miss Antunez and
presented her with a "Key to the City" and a copy of the resolution
signed by himself and the aldermen. Miss Antunez accepted the gift
and expressed her gratitude to the citizens of Muskego. The motion
to adopt the resolution carried.
Resolution #91-78 - The Clerk read same, entitled, Approval of Certified
Survey Map (Lionel Sherper). Ald. Dumke moved for adoption, seconded
by Ald. Tomzyk. Ald. Pienkos moved to amend Resolution #91-78 by
adding the following paragraph "BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this
approval is subject to receipt of an acceptable Developer's Agreement."
Seconded.by Ald. Dumke. Upon a roll call vote the motion to amend

Radtke, Ald. Edwin P. Dumke, Gerald Faber and Leonard Hayne.
Ald. Pienkos moved for adoption, seconded by Ald. Tomczyk. Upon a
Van Lanen voting "no".

Attorney to Begin Condemnation Procedures (Arrington property - Lake
Schaumberg. Upon a roll call vote on the motion to adopt Resolution
#101-78, Aldermen Dumke, Pienkos, Schaumbag, Tomczyk, and Ford voted
"aye". Aldermen Van Lanen and Wallner voted "no". The motion to
adopt carried.
VOUCHER APPROVAL - Ald. Schaumberg moved for the approval of payment
of general vouchers in the amount of $57,212.37 payable 5/9/78. Sec-
onded by Ald. Dumke. Upon a roll call vote the motion carried unan-
imously
LICENSE APPROVAL - Ald. Schaumberg moved for the approval of Operators
Licenses for Shannon Molkentin and Darlene Tikkanen. Seconded by
Ald. Tomczyk. Motion carried.
CITY OFFICIAL'S REPORTS - The Clerk read the Building Report for the
month of April, 1978, which indicated 15 new dwelling units and total
construction in the amount of $934,104.00 for that month. Report
placed on file.
COMMUNICATIONS AND MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS -
The Clerk read a petition from Eleanor Buehler requesting rezoning
of Lots 1 and 2, Block 15, Jewel Crest Subdivision, from RS3 (OED) to
RS3 (OD) to place the existing structure and use from non-conforming
to conforming use. Same referred to Plan Commission.
Mayor Gottfried advised the Public Hearing date for the rezoning request
of Don Miller for a parcel of land in Section 10 from RS2 to RSM for
7.00 P.M. on June 13, 1978.
ADJOURNMENT -- Ald. Pienkos moved to adjourn, seconded by Ald.
Schaumberg. Motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 9:11 P.M.
