MINUTES OF MEETING HELD DECEMBER 13, 1977
The meeting was called to order at 7:37 P.M. by Mayor Gottfried. Also
Lanen and Wallner, City Attorney Buckley and City Clerk Bowyer.
present were Aldermen Dumke, Ford, Pienkos, Tomczyk, Schaumberg, Van

Ald. Pienkos moved for the approval of minutes of the previous meeting
held 11/23/77. Seconded by Ald. Tomczyk. Motion carried.
Ald. Dumke presented the report of the Finance Committee meeting held
12/7/77 and moved that it be accepted and placed on file. Seconded by
Ald. Tomczyk. motion carried.
Ald. Van Lanen presented the report of the Public Welfare Committee
meeting held 11/23/77 and moved that it be accepted and placed on file.
Seconded by Ald; Tomczyk, motion carried.
Ald. Pienkos presented the report of the Public Safety Committee meeting
held 12/7/77 and moved that it be accepted and placed on file. Seconded
by Ald. Wallner, motion carried.
Ald; Van--Lanen presented the report of the:RulesilLaws & Ordinance
Committee meeting held 11/23/77 and moved-that- it^ be^ accepted and placed
on file.. Seconded by Ald. Wallner. Ald. Ford expressed his concern
regarding the content of the second last paragraph of-the minutes and
moved to delete.-the-paragraph.- Seconded by .Aid.-: Schaumberg. Following
considerable discussion on-the motion to delete the second last ParagraI
Aldermen. Dumke~, -Ford, Pienkos, Schaumberg and Tomczyk voted "aye".
Aldermen Van--Lanen. and Wallner~ voted "no" . The motion..carried.- Upon
Ordinance Committee meeting held 11/23/77, As Amended, the motion

The minutes of the Plan Commission-,meeting held 12/6/77 were received
and placed on file.
NEW BUSINESS
Resolution #278-77 - The Clerk read same, entitled, Approval of Mannigan
Property to Connect-Into City Sewer System (12785 Janesville Rd.) Ald.
City Attorney Buckley, Ald. Dumke-moved to amend the last paragraph of
the resolution-by adding.the following: "and that the necessary ordinanc
expanding the sewer service district be. drafted". - Seconded by Ald.
Tomczyk. Upon a voice vote the motion to amend Resolution #278-77

bidders). Ald. Dumke moved for adoption, seconded by Ald. Wallner. Upc

Protection Contract Between City of Nuskego and hluskego Volunteer Fire
Company (1978). Ald. Schaumberg moved for adoption, seconded by Ald.
Wallner. Upon roll call the motion carried unanimously.
Resolution #281-77 - The Clerk read same, entitled, Approval of Fire
Protection Contract Between City of Nuskego and Tess Corners Volunteer
Fire Department (1978). Ald. Schaumberg moved for adoption, seconded

Tomczyk. Discussion took place among the aldermen and Mayor regarding
the problems involved with changing a health insurance carrier and
the possibility of seeking quotations from companies other than Blue
Cross - Blue Shield. Ald. Wallner moved to defer action on Resolution
2290-77 for two weeks. Seconded by Ald. Van Lanen. Upon a roll call
vote to defer Aldermen Dumke, Ford, Pienkos, Schaumberg and Tomczyk
voted "no". Aldermen Van Lanen and Wallner voted "aye". The motion
to defer did not carry. Upon a roll call vote to adopt Resolution
$290-77 the motion carried with Aldermen Van Lanen and Wallner voting'nc
Ordinance #341 - The Clerk gave the first reading of same, entitled,
An Ordinance to Amend the Zoning District Nap of the City of Muskego
(Lake Denoon Area - R3 to RS2)
LICENSE APPROVAL - Ald. Dumke moved for the approval of Operators Liced
for James Young. Seconded by Ald. Pienkos, motion carried.
Ald. Tornczyk moved for the approval of a "Gathering" Permit for St.
Ald. Pienkos, motion carried. (Gathering to be 12/31/77.)

CITY OFFICIAL'S REPORTS - The Clerk read the Building Report for the
month of November, 1977, which indicated seven new dwellings and total
construction for that month in the amount of $446,535.00. Report place(
on file.
City Attorney Buckley reviewed with the aldermen some of the pertinent
concerning the Muskego Rendering Company
facts regarding the recently held hearing by the DNR and their orders

A lengthy discussion took place between the ,aldermen, Mayor and City
Attorney regarding the preparation and distribution of agendas of
meetings held by the various Common Council committees.
ADJOURNMENT - Ald. Wallner moved to adjourn, seconded by Aid. Tomczyk.
Motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 9:35 P.M.
