ccm19771206Minutes of the Special Common Council meeting held on December 6, 1977
Upon a roll call vote the following were present: Mayor Gottfried,
Aldermen Pienkos, Schaumberg, Ford, Van Lanen, Tomczyk, Dumke and
Wallner, Also present: City Clerk B. J. Bowyer.
Meeting was called to order at 7:20 P.M., by Mayor Gottfried.
The City Clerk read Ord. 11340 entitled, Appropriating the Necessary
Funds for the Operation of the Government and Administration of the
City of Muskego for the Year 1978.
Motion made by Ald, Schaumberg that the rules be suspended that
interfere with adoption so that Ord. 11340 may be given it's 2nd
reading, Motion seconded by Ald. Dumke and upon a roll call vote,
motion carried.
The City Clerk then gave Ord. 11340, its second reading by title
only, Ald. Schaumberg moved, as seconded by Ald. Ford that
Ordinance 11340 be adopted.
The Mayor briefly reviewed the public hearing regarding the-pro-
posed for 1978, held on December 5, 1977.

a Discussion followed regarding the city's investment program, the
absence of some aldermen at committee meetings, monies reserved
in the budget for senior citizen activities, proposed monies to
be expended for Conf. and Special Events-Common Council, proposed
on-the-line computer terminal system and budgeted monies for two
attendants for the Park and Rec. Dept.
Ald. Pienkos moved, as seconded by Ald. Van Lanen, that account
520.016 entitled Conf. & Special Events be reduced by $250.00,
and upon roll call vote, motion did not carry.
Upon a call for the vote, i.e., the adoption of Ord 11340, a
roll call vote was taken and motion carried.
There being no further business Ald. Schaumberg moved, as seconded
by Ald. Pienkos that the meeting be adjourned at 8:24 P.M.
