e MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING HELD AUGUST 15, 1977
The meeting was called to order at 9:30 P.M., by Mayor
Jerome J. Gottfried. Also present were Aldermen Dumke,
Ford, Pienkos, Van Lenen, Schamber g and Wallner. Also
present, Attorney John P. Buckley and City Clerk Bowyer.
The purpose of the meeting was to conduct an election of
alderman from District 5 to suceed Leslie J. Constantineau.

The balloting was conducted in accordance with S.S. 19.88,
the first candidate receiving four votes to be declared
elected.
The seven candidates were as follows: Mr. J. G. Fojtik,
Mr. Michael S. Gillilan, Mrs. Laura J. Kilb, Mrs. Joan
Kvalheim, Mr. Ralph Tomczyk, Mrs. Nancy Moreno and Mr.
Robert T. Grgurich.
On the seventh ballot, Ralph R. Tomczyk was declared
elected and was administered the oath of office by City
Attorney John P. Buckley.
There being no further business, Ald. Ford moved, as
seconded by Ald. Pienkos to adjourn, motion carried.
Meeting was adjourned at 10 P.M.
