MINUTES OF MEETING HELD AUGUST 9, 1977
The meeting was called to order at 7:40 P.M. by Mayor Gottfried. Also
present were Aldermen Dumke, Ford, Pienkos, Schaumberg. Van Lanen and
@ Wallner and City Clerk Bowyer.
Ald. Schaumberg moved to approve the minutes of the Previous meeting
held on July 26, 1977 and that they be accepted and placed on file.
Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried.
COMMITTEE REPORTS - Ald. Schaumberg presented the report of the Finance ommittee meeting held August 3, 1977, and moved that it be accepted and
placed on file. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried.
Ald. Dumke presented the report of the Public Works Committee meeting
held on 8/4/77 and moved that it be accepted and placed on file. SeC-
onded by Ald. Schaumberg, motion carried.
Ald. Van Lanen presented the report of the Public Welfare Committee
meeting held 7/27/77 and moved that it be accepted and placed on file.
Seconded by Ald. Wallner, motion carried.
Ald. Van Lanen presented the report of the Rules, Laws & Ordinance
Committee meeting held 7/27/77 and moved that same be accepted and
placed on file. Seconded by Ald. Wallner, motion carried.
Ald. Ford presented the report of the Public Sewer Committee Meeting
held 8/8/77 and moved that it be accepted and placed on file.. Seconded
by Ald. Dumke, motion carried.
Ald. Pienkos presented the report of the Public Safety Committee Meeting
held 8/4/77 and moved that it be accepted and placed on file. Seconded
by Ald. Schaumberg, motion carried.
The minutes of the Plan Commission meeting held 8/2/77 was received and
placed on file.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS
Resolution #159-77 - Approval of Payment of Final Disbursement for Road
and Site Grading for Phase I1 of the Industrial Park. This resolution
is on the floor, had been deferred for two weeks and as the matter has
of this date not been resolved, Ald. Ford moved to defer action on same
for an additional two weeks. Seconded by Ald. Pienkos, motion carried.
Resolution #171-77 - Approval of Developer's Agreement for Lake Brittany Estates. As this resolution as on the floor, upon a roll call vote the
motion to adopt carried unanimously.
Ordinance #332 - The Clerk gave the seconded reading c)f same, entitled,
An Ordinance to Amend Various Sections of Ch. 30 of the Municipal Code
Ald. Dumke. Upon roll call the motion to adopt carried unanimously.
(Building Code Amendments). Ald. Ford moved for adoption, seconded by

Mayor Gottfried advised that Resolution #182-77 did not appear on the
agenda for this meeting, however, he urged that the aldermen suspend
of Developer's Agreement for Country Club Oaks)

Resolution #173-77 - The Clerk read same, entitled, Authorizing A
District in Muskego. (Introduced by Ald. Pienkos) Aid. Pienkos moved
of the resolution and urged that the aldermen also vote in favor of it.

Resolution #174-77 - The Clerk read same, entitled, Authorizing Refund
seconded by Ald. Wallner. Upon a roll call vote, Aldermen Dumke, Ford,
for Sewer Lateral (Frances Spaight) Ald. Dumke moved for adoption.
Pienkos and Schaumberg voted "aye". Aldermen Van Lanen and Wallner
voted "no". The motion to adopt carried.
Resolution #175-77 - The Clerk read same, entitled, Preliminary
Resolution Declaring Intent to Levy Special Assessments for Sanitary
Sewer Improvements (Southwest Area District "13 - Lake Denoon Area)
Ald. Schaumberg moved for adoptj-on, seconded by Ald. Dumke. Upon a
roll call vote the motion carried unanimously.
Resolution #176-77 - The Clerk read same, entitled, Denial of Grievance
of Muskego Professional Policeman's Association. Ald. Schaumberg moved
for adoption, seconded by Ald. Pienkos. Upon a roll call vote the
motion carried with Aldermen Van Lanen and Wallner voting "no".
Resolution #177-77 - The Clerk read same, entitled, Denial of Legal
Status (J. Mazurkiewicz - Muskego Shores Subdivision). Ald. Schaumberg
moved for adoption, seconded by Ald. Dumke. Upon a roll call vote,
Aldermen Dumke, Ford, Pienkos and Schaumberg voted "aye". Aldermen
Van Lanen and Wallner voted "no". The motion to adopt carried.
Resolution #178-77 - The Clerk read same, entitled, Establishing Traffic
Regulations ("No Parking on east side of Hillendale Dr. between S6430
and S6632 between the hours of 4:OO P.M. and 11:OO P.M. and on the

Resolution #181-77 - The Clerk read same, entitled, Authorizing Maintenance Agreement for IBU Typewriter (Bldg. Inspection) Ald. 6 Schaumberg moved for adoption, seconded by Ald. Dumke. Upon roll - call the motion carried unanimously.
Resolution #182-77 - Approval of Developer‘s Agreement for Country Club
Oaks. Ald. Schaumberg moved to suspend the rules that would interfere
with the adoption of same. Seconded by Ald. Dumke. Upon a roll call vote the motion to suspend the rules carried unanimously. The Clerk
read the resolution. Ald. Dumke moved for adoption, seconded by Ald.
unanimously.

LICENSE APPROVAL - Ald. Schaumberg moved for the approval of Operators
License for John Kannard. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried.
Ald. Schaumberg moved for the approval of a “Gathering“ Permit for
VFW Country Fair Days (August 26, 27 and 28, 1977) to be held on the
southeast corner of Lannon Dr. and Janesville Rd. Seconded by Ald.
Dumke, motion carried.
CITY OFFICIAL’S REPORTS - The Clerk presented the Building Report
construction for that month in the amount of $581,079.00. Report
for the month of July, 1977, indicating 10 new dwelling units and total
placed on file.
COMMUNICATIONS AND MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS
Ald. Schaumberg moved to set the public hearing date for the Lake
Denoon Sewer District for Monday, August 22, 1977, 8:OO P.M. in the
city hall. Seconded by Ald. Ford, motion carried.
The Clerk read a petition from Richard M. and Terri L. Knudsen, dated
August 2, 1977, requesting an O.D. overlay for their property located
at W188 S6909 Gold Drive to permit the existing dwelling on the
property to be converted to a duplex. Petition referred to Plan
Commission.
ADJOURNMENT - Ald. Pienkos moved to adjourn, seconded by Ald. Schaumberg,
motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 9:19 P. hi.
