ccm19770426COMMON COUNCIL CITY OF MUSKEG0 MINUTES OF MEETING HELD APRIL 26, 1977 The meeting was called to order at 7 42 P.M. by Mayor Gottfried. Also present were Aldermen Constantineau, Dumke, Pienkos, Wallner, Van .Lanen. Ald. Ford arrived at 7:50 P.M. and Ald. Schaumberg was absent. City Attorney John Buckley and City Clerk Bette Bowyer were also present. Ald. Pienkos moved for the approval of the minutes of the previous 4/19/77, as mailed. Seconded by Ald. Constantineau. Motion carried. regular meeting held 4/12/77 and of the organizational meeting held Ald. Dumke presented the minutes of the Finance Committee meetings held 4/25/77 and moved that they be accepted and placed on file. Seconded by Ald. Wallner. Following a discussion regarding the application for a Class "B" Fermented Malt Beverage License from Pizza Huts, Inc., the motion to accept the report carried. Ald. Constantineau presented the report of the Public Works Committee meeting held 4120177 and moved that it be acceDted and Dlaced on file. Seconded bv Ald. Pienkos. motion carried. Ald. Pienkos uresented the reoort of the Public Welfare Committee meeting held 4/13/77 and moved that it be acceDted and ulaced on file. Seconded bv Ald. Constantineau. motion carried. Ald. Pienkos Dresented the reDort of the Public Safetv Committee meeting held 4120177 and moved that it be acceuted and Dlaced on file. Seconded bv Ald. Wallner. motion carried, Ald. Constantineau Dresented the reDort of the Public Sewer Committee meeting held 4/18/77 and moved that it be acceDted and DlaCed on file. Seconded bv Ald. Dumke. motion carried. UNFINISHED BUSINESS Ordinance #324 - The Clerk gave the second reading of same, entitled, An Ordinance to Amend Section 19.05(7) of the Municipal code^ Relating to Garbage and Refuse Receptacles. Ald. Constantineau moved for adoption. Seconded by Ald. Dumke. Upon a roll call vote the motion carried unanimously. Ordinance #325 - The Clerk gave the second reading of same, entitled, An Ordinance to Amend Ch. 16, Section 16.22 of the Municipal Code (Re Ald. Dumke. A discussion took place regarding the application for a Holding Tanks). Ald. Constantineau moved for adoption. Seconded by holding tank from Mr. Michael Sorkan who has already receive county approval but has not received city approval Ald. Wallner moved to defer action on Ordinance #325 until the next Council meeting. Motion seconded by Ald. Dumke. Upon a roll call vote to defer, Aldermen Dumke, Van Lanen and Wallner voted "aye". Aldermen Constantineau, Ford and Pienkos voted "no". There being a tie vote, Mayor Gottfried voted "no". The motion to defer did not carry. Ald. Pienkos moved to a mendthe date in Sec. l(l)(a) from April 20, 1977 to May lC, 1977. Seconded by Ald. Constantineau. Upon a roll call vote on the motion to amend, the motion carried with Ald. Wallner casting a dissenting motion carried with Ald. Wallner casting a dissenting vote. vote.
