MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JULY 22, 1975
The meeting was called to order at 8:35 P.M, by Mayor Gottfried. Also
present were Aldermen Colburn, Dumke, Ford, Foldy, Knudsen and Wallner,
City Clerk Bowyer and City Attorney John Buckley. Ald. Schaumberg was a'dsent.
Ald. Foldy moved to approve the minutes, of the previous meeting held on July 8, 1975, and that they be placed on file, Seconded by Ald, Wallner,
motion carried.
Ald. Dumke presented the report of the Finance Coprsalttee meeting held July 18, 1975, and moved that it be accepted and placed on file. Seconded
by Ald. Foldy, motion carried.
Ald. Ford presented notes taken at the inform+ meeting of the Public
Works Committee on July 17, 1975, They were received and placed on file.
Ald. Foldy presented the report o:f the pclbl$c Welfare Committee meeting
held on July 10, 1975, and moved that they be ecoepted and placed on file.
Seconded by Ald. Wallner, motion carried. _
Ald. Foldy presented the report of the, Rtiles; Laws & Ordinance Committea
meeting held on July 18, 1975, and moved that it be accepted and placed on
file. Seconded by Ald. Wallner, motion cqx&d.
COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE MAYOR'S OFFICR - Mayor Gottfried advised that
following the adjournment of this meeting, @here would be a short meeting
of the Little Muskego Lake Protection and RehabllitatLon District Board
of Conrcissioners.

Resolution i/191-75 - The Clerk read same, entitled, Approval of Certified

for adoption, seconded by Aid, Dumke... Upon roll call the motion to adopt
carried unanimously.
Resolution #192-75 - The Clerk read same, entitled, Authorizjng Special
Building Committee to have Architectural Study of Meeded Facilities for
New Police Station. Aid. Foldy moved for ~adeption, seconded by Ald. Knudsen.
Upon a roll call vote the motion carrged unanlmouely.

Resolution j/193-75 - The Clerk read same, entitled, Authorizing Payment of
$100.00 to A. Badertscher for Fence. Ald. Ford moved for adoption, seconded
by Ald. Wallner. Upon roll call the motion carried unanimously,
Resolution i/194-75 - The Clerk read same, entitled, Authorizing Transfer
of Funds ($3,000.00 from Acct. i/292, Unappropriated Surplus, to Account
f508.015, Municipal Court.) Ald. Foldy moved for adoption, seconded by
Ald. Wallner. Upon roll call the motion carried unanimously.
Resolution $1195-75 - The Clerk read same, entitled, Extension of Time Limit
of Kristin Downs Development. Ald. Dumke moved for adoption, seconded by
Ald. Colburn (date by which an acceptable developer's agreement and final
plat must be executed and approved to be December 10, 1975.) Upon a roll
call vote the motion carried unanimously.
Resolution j/196-75 - Authorizing Execution of a Contract With La Mar -
Schreiber & Associates (Lions, Kurth, Jensen). Ald. Ford moved to suspend
the rules that would interfere with the adoption of Resolution i/196-75.
Seconded by Ald. Colbum. Upon roll call the motion carried with Ald.
Knudsen casting a dissenting vote. The Clerk read the resolution. Ald.
Ford moved for adoption, seconded by Ald. Colbum. Upon roll call the
motion to adopt carried with Ald. Wallner casting a dissenting vote.
The Clerk gave the first reading of Ordinance #306,
Creating Section 16.28 of the Municipal Code of the
Establishing the City as Agent Municipality.

LICENSE APPROVAL - Ald. Foldy moved for the approval of Operators License4
for Jerry Steuemagel, Thomas Johnson, Donna Dergin, Maxine Ries, Marlene
Winters, John West, Rita Dutschek and Richard Hagenkord and for the approval
of Operators Licenses for Elinor Tvosen, Patricia Schill, Clayton VanGomple,
Guy Knepprath and Cecil Stubblefield subject to favorable Fingerprint
and/or Medical Reports. Seconded by Ald. Dumke, motion carried.
Ald. Foldy moved for the approval of Dump Refuse Permit for Best Disposal
Co. (a division of Waste Management). Seconded by Ald. Colbum, motion
carried.
9 Ald. Dumke moved for the approval of a "Gathering" Permit for St. Leonard's
Holy Name Society for B/10/75, at W173 S7743 St. Leonard's Drive. Seconded
by Ald. Ford, motion carried.
VOUCHER APPROVAL - Ald. Foldy moved to approve payment of general vouchers
in the amount of $187,515.85. Seconded by Ald. Dumke. Ald. Ford moved to
amend the amount by withholding $500.00 on Voucher i/4009, payment to Leo
Dretzke and to add Payment #l in the amount of $2,340,00 and Payment #2
in the amount of $19,859.85 to the Bruce Company, contractors for Mill Valley
Project. Seconded by Ald. Dumke. Upon roll call the motion to amend the
voucher payment carried.unanimously. Upon a roll call vote the motion to
pay the general vouchers, as amended, carried unanimously.
Ald. Colbum moved to approve payment of sewer utility vouchers in the amouqt

of $10,660.84. Seconded by Ald. Dumke. Upon roll call the motion carried
unanimously.
COMMUNICATIONS AND MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS - In answer to a question from Ald.
l Knudsen, Aid. Colbum advised that the Public Sffety Committee is invest-
igating the possibility of providing bike trails within the city.
ADJOURNMENT - Ald. Ford moved to adjourn, seconded by Ald. Colbum, motion
carried. The meeting adjourned at 9~27 P.M.
