Attorney Buckley and City Clerk Bowyer were also APPROVAL OF MINUTES - Ald. Narlock moved for the approval of minutes of meeting held November 23, 1971, as mailed, and that they be placed on file. Seconded by Ald. Sapp, motion carried. _COMMITTEE REPORTS Ald. Sapp presented the report of the Finance Committee meetingheld on Dee, 8 ,&14, 1971, and moved that it be accepted and placed on file. Seconded by Ald. Narlock, motion carried. Ald. DeBack presented the report of the Public Works Committee meeting held on December 9, 1971, and moved that the report be accepted and placed on file. Seconded by Ald. Burgermeister, motion carried. l Ald. Schaumberg presented the report of the Public Safety Committee meeting held on December 9, 1971, and moved that it be accepted and placed on file. Seconded by Aid. Sapp, motion carried. Ald. Schaumberg presented the report of the Public Sewer/Welfare Committee meeting held on December 2, 1971, and moved that the report be accepted and placed on file. Seconded by Ald. Foldy, motion carried. Ald. Dumke presented the report of the Rules, Laws & Ordinance Committee meeting held on November 24, 1971, and moved that the report be accepted and placed on file. Seconded by Ald. Narlock, motion carried. The minutes of the Plan Commission meeting held on 1217171 were received and placed on file. UNFINISHED BUSINESS - None NEW BUSINESS l Resolution $1222-71 - The Clerk read same, entitled, Authorizing the Renewal of Contract Between Associated Hospital Services and City of Muskego for 1972. Ald. Narlock moved for adoption, seconded by Aid. Sapp. Upon a roll call vote, the motion to adopt carried unanimously. Resolution $1223-71 - The Clerk read same, entitled, Authorizing the Advertising of Bids for New Squad Cars. Ald. Sapp moved for adoption, seconded by Ald. Burgermeister. Ald. Sapp moved to amend Resolution f/223-71 by changing the number of squad cars from "four" to "five" where- ever it appeared in the resolution. Seconded by Ald. Narlock. The motion to amend carried. Upon a roll call vote, the motion to adopt Resolution #223-71, As Amended, carried unanimously. Resolution j/224-71 - The Clerk read same, entitled, Declaring the City's Interest to Participate with the City of Franklin in the Building of a Temporary Forced Main to Expand its Sewage Treatment Capacity. Ald. Foldy moved for adoption. Seconded by Ald. Schaumberg. Ald. DeBack moved to amend the resolution by adding "and the Department of Natural Resources" a to the last paragraph. Seconded by Ald. Upon a voice vote, the motion to adopt carried. Resolution #226-71 - The Clerk read same, entitled, Extending Deadline Date for Partial Payment of 1971 Real Estate Taxes. Ald. Sapp moved for adoption, seconded by Ald. Narlock. Upon a voice vote, the motion to adopt carried. Resolution Y/227-71 - The Clerk read same, entitled, Authorizing Tax Researchers, Inc. to Investigate Income Tax Allocations. Ald. Narlock moved for adoption, seconded by Ald. Burgenneister. Upon a roll call vote, the motion to adopt carried unanimously. Resolution l/228-71 - The Clerk read same, entitled, Granting a Permit to Payne & Dolan of Wisconsin, Inc. to Operate a Portable Asphalt Plant. Ald. DeBack moved for adoption, seconded by Ald. Burgermeister. Upon a voice vote, the motion carried. Resolution #229-71 - The Clerk read same, entitled, Authorizing Public Works Dept. to Advertise for Bids for Two New Highway Trucks with Plow and Sander. Ald. Burgermeister moved for adoption, seconded by Ald. Foldy. Upon a roll call vote, the motion to adopt carried unanimously. Resolution j/330-71 - Authorizing Advertising of Bids for Fuel Oil and Ga~soline for all City Purposes. Ald. Burgermeister moved for adoption, seconded by Ald. Narlock. Upon a roll call vote, the motion to adopt carried unanimously. Resolution $1231-71 - The Clerk read same, entitled, Approving Junk License for Jack Glockner. Ald. Burgermeister moved for adoption, seconded by Ald. DeBack. Upon a roll call vote, the motion to adopt carried unanimously. Ordinance #207 - The Clerk gave the first reading of Ordinance #207, entitled, Appropriating Necessary Funds for the Operation of Government and Administration for the City of Muskego for the Year 1972. Ald. Burgermeister moved to suspend the rules that would interfere with the adoption of Ordinance #207. Seconded by Ald. Foldy. Upon a roll call vote, the motion to suspend the rules carried unanimously. The Clerk gave the second reading of Ordinance $207. Ald. Burgermeister moved for adoption, seconded by Ald. Narlock. Upon a roll call vote, the motion to adopt Ordinance #207 carried unanimously. Ordinance i/208 - The Clerk gave the first reading of Ordinance 11208, entitled, An Ordinance to Rezone Certain Property and to Amend the Zoning Map of the City of Muskego (Frame-Horovitz Property in Sec. 1.) Ordinance #211 - The Clerk gave the first reading of Ordinance #211, entitled, And Ordinance to Create Ch. 3.10 of the Municipal Code Relating to the Establishment and Collection of Sewer Service Charges. VOUCHER APPROVAL - Ald. Burgenneister moved for the approval of payment vouchers in the amount of $43,703.00 for city hall construction and Woods Road construction. Seconded by Ald. Narlock. Burgenneister moved for the approval of payment of sewer con- a- struction vouchers in the amount of $636,657.22. Seconded by Ald. Narlock. Upon a roll call vote, the motion to pay the vouchers carried unanimously. LICENSE APPROVAL - Ald. Burgermeister moved for the approval of Operators License for Jacomino Peroeschi. Seconded by Ald. Sapp. Motion carried. Ald. Narlock moved for the approval of Operators License for George Scheerer subject to favorable Medical and Fingerprint Reports. Seconded by Ald. Burgermeister, motion carried. _CITY OFFICIAL'S REPORTS - The Clerk gave the Financial Report for the month ending November 30, 1971, showing total assets in the amount of $1,127,615.07. Report placed on file. The Clerk read the Building Report for the month of November, 1971. Report placed on file. l Attorney Buckley advised that in the matter of the pending lawsuit regarding the proposed construction of a fire department sub-station in the southeast part of the city, the Judge has not rendered an opinion as of this date. COMMUNICATIONS AND MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS The Clerk read a communication directed to the City Council from Snow's Tree Service Co., regarding dead and fallen trees on city property. Communication referred to Public Works Committee. The Clerk read a communication directed to Mayor and Chairman of Board of Appeals, from Appeal Board member Cameron Coe, tendering his res- ignation from the Board. Placed on file. The Clerk read a communication from Ron Ford, President, of the Little Muskego Lake Association, directed to the Mayor and Council, regarding the walleye habitat project for Little Muskego Lake. Letter referred to * Finance Committee. The Clerk read a conraunication from Ron Ford, President of the Little Muskego Lake Association, directed to the Mayor and Council, proposing an annual overwinter drawdown of Little Muskego Lake. Referred to Public Works Committee. The Clerk read a letter directed to Mayor Gottfried from Ron Ford, President of the Little Muskego Lake Association, thanking Willard Bertram and his men of the Highway Dept., for assisting in the recent "Operation Restoration". Referred to Public Works Committee. The Clerk read a petition from Thomas Skowronski requesting a rezoning in Kirkwood Subdivision from RS3 to RS2. Ald. DeBack moved to set the public hearing date for January 11, 1972, at 7~00 P.M. for the proposed rezoning. Seconded by Ald. Narlock, motion carried. Referred to Plan Commission. ADJOURNMENT - Ald.
