MINUTES OF ADJOURNED HEETING HELD AUGUST 17, 1071
ILayor Gottfried called the meeting to order at 8:00 P.M.
PRESENT: Mayor Jerome Gottfried, Ald. Burgermeister, DeBack,
Dumke, Foldy, Narlock, and Sapp. Also present, City Clerk
Bowyer, Attorney Buckley and Seegar Swanson Jr., of Ehlers E
Assoc. Inc.
Six bids were acknowledged as having been received by the Clerk
from the followi.ng bidders regarding the Sale of $600 .OOO.OO
Promissory Notes: Continental 111. Nat'l. Bank & Trust Co. of
Chicago, Fiarine ?:at'l. Exchange Bank of Nilw., LaSalle Fat'l.
Bank, Chicago, Ill., Dain, Kalman & Quail, Inc., Minneapolis,
Minn., First Wis. Nat'l. Bank of Hilt., Milw., & Northern Trust
co. of Chicago, Ill. Said bids were read by Mr. Seegar Swanson Jr.
Mr. Swanson noted that the bid of LaSalle Nat'l. Bank of Chicago
failed to submit their bid on the prepared bidding form, request-
ing that this irregularity be waived. Ald. Sapp moved, as
seconded by Ald. Burgermeister, that the Common Council waive the
irregularity as found in the LaSalle Nat'l. Bank of Chicago bid,
motion carried. l Resolution 167-71 - A Resolution Authorizing and Providing for the
Eorrowing of $6CO,OOO.O0 by the City of Muskego, Wis., and for
the Issuance of Promissory Notes to Evidence Said Borrowing. Ald.
Burgermeister moved to suspend the rules that interfere with
adoption of said resolution, motion seconded by Ald. Narlock and
upon roll call vote, motion carried. The clerk then read same.
Ald. E:arlock moved for adoption of Resol. 167-71, as seconded by
Pld. Burgermeister and upon a roll call vote, motion carried.
Resolution 165-71 - Accepting State Grant Offer Under Sec. 144.21,
1.7 i s . statutes. Ald. Burgermeister moved to suspend the rules
that interfere with adoption of said resolution, motion seconded
by Ald. Narlock and upon a roll call vote, motion carried. The
Clerk then read same. Ald. Narlock moved to adopt Resol. 165-71,
motion seconded by Ald. Dumke and upon a roll call vote, motion
carried.
Resolution 163-71 - A Resolution Authorizing and Providing for the
Corroving of $300,000.00 by the City of Muskego, Vis., for the
purpose of Temporary Funding of Sewer Expenditures Pending Receipt
of Proceeds of Other Notes. Ald. Burgermeister moved to suspend
the rules that interfere with adoption of said resolution, motion
seconded by Aid. Narlock, and upon roll call vote, motion carried.
The Clerk read same. Ald. DeBack moved to adopt Resol. 163-71,
motion seconded by Ald. Karlock and upon a roll call vote, motion
carried.
Resolution 166-71 - Restricting Connection to the Sewer System
in the "G" District until Sewerage Treatment Facilities Are !~vail-
able. Jld. Rurgermeister moved to suspend the rules that interfere
with adoption of said resolution, motion seconded by Ald. DeBack
and upon roll call vote, motion carried. The Clerk read same.
Ald. Foldy moved that Resol. 166-71 be adopted, motion seconded by
Ald. Sapp and upon a roll call vote, motion carried.
Aid. Sapp'noved that sewers vouchers in the amount of $444,871.32
be approved for paymect, motion seconded by r'ld. Yarlock and upon
a roll call vote, motion carried.
