MINUTES OF REGULARMEETING HELD NOVEMBER 11, 1969
Mayor Wieselmann called the meeting to order at 7~35 P.M.
l PRESENT: Mayor Wieselmann, Robert Burgenneister, Edmund Budish,
Harold DeBack, Frank Narlock, Lois Sapp, Emmett O'Connell and Walter
Wollman. Also present were City Clerk Bette Bowyer and Attorney John
e P. Buckley.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Ald Narlock moved to approve the Minutes of the
regular meeting held on October 30, 1969, and of the special meetings
held on October 30th and November 4th, 1969. Seconded by Ald. Burger-
meister. Motion carried.
COMMITTEE REPORTS
Ald. Narlock presented the report of the Finance Committee meetings held
on November 5th, 6th and lOth, 1969. Seconded by Ald. DeBack, motion
carried.
Ald. DeBack presented the report of the Public Works Committee meetings
held on October 30th and November 6, 1969. Seconded by Ald. Wollman,

motion carried.
Ald. Sapp presented the report of the Public Safety Committee meeting
held on November 4, 1969, a~nd moved that the report be accepted and
placed on file. Seconded by Ald. O'Connell, motion carried.
Ald. Sapp presented the report of the Rules, Laws & Ordinance Committee
meeting held on November 6, 1969. Seconded by Ald. Narlock, motion
ca~rried.
The Minutes of the Plan Commission meeting held on November 4, 1969,
were received and will be placed on file.
UNFINISHED BUSINESS - None
NEW BUSINESS
Resolution i/126-69 - The Clerk read Resolution i/126-69, entitled, Resolution Authorizing Installation of Sewer Lateral Pursuant to
Section 3.10 of the Municipal Code. Ald. Budish moved for the
adoption of Resolution l/126-69, seconded by Ald. Narlock. Upon a
roll call vote to adopt Resolution i/126-69, the motion carried
unanimously.
Resolution #128-69 - The Clerk read Resolution f/128-69, entitled,
Approval of Muskego Shores Addition #l. Ald. Wollman moved for the
adoption of Resolution i/128-69, seconded by Ald. DeBack. The Clerk

read correspondence from Inman Surveying & Engineering directed to
herself, dated November 10, 1969, indicating that his firm has ded-
icated an additional 5 feet along the southerly line of Muskego Dr.
to allow for a future width of 60 feet, as called forin the Subdiv-
ision Control Ordinance and Ch. 236 of the Wis. Statutes. The Clerk
also read correspondence directed to the Mayor and Council from the
City Plan Commission, dated Nov. 11, 1969, recommending that the final
plat for Muskego Shores Addition #1 be approved subject to the City
Engineer's approval of surface drainage and grades. Upon a voice vote,

Resolution #129-69 - Ald. Narlock moved to suspend the rules that
would interfere with the adoption of Resolution i/129-69, seconded by
Ald. Wollman. Upon a roll call vote, to suspend the rules, the motion
carried unanimously. The Clerk read Resolution #129-69, entitled,
Resolution Authorizing Exercise of Option for Purchase of Idle Isle
Bea,ch. Ald. Narlock moved for the adoption of Resolution #129-69,
seconded by Ald. Budish. Discuss'ion followed regarding the financing
of the purchase and the expiration date of the option (12/31/69) and
Ald. Sapp moved to defer action on Resolution #129-69 until such time
that the Council has an opportunity to review the 1970 City of Muskego
Budget. Seconded by Ald. Burgenneister. Upon avoice call vote, the
motion to defer carried.
Resolution i/130-69 - Ald. Burgermeister moved to suspend the rules in
order to act upon Resolution 8130-69. Seconded by Ald. Sapp. Upon
a roll call vote the motion to suspend the rules carried unanimously.
The Clerk read-Resolution #130-69, entitled, Approval of Easement to
Wisconsin Natural Gas Company. Ald. Sapp moved for adoption of
Resolution #130-69, seconded by Ald. Narlock. Upon a voice vote, the
motion to adopt Resolution #130-69 carried.
LICENSE APPROVAL - Ald. Budish moved for the approval of an Operator's
License for Cosmo LaPorta pending receipt of favorable Fingerprint
and Medical Report. Seconded by Ald. DeBack, Upon a voice vote, motion
carried.
Ald. Budish moved for the approval of an Operator's License for Dale
Goetsch. Seconded by Ald. DeBack. Upon a voice vote, motion carried.
Ald. DeBack moved for the approval of a Class "B" Fermented Malt
Beverage and Intoxicating Liquor License for Harry Green. Seconded
by Ald. Narlock. Upon a voice vote the motion carried.
CITY OFFICIAL'S REPORTS -
The Clerk gave the Financial Report as of October 31, 1969 which
indicated gross assets in the amount of $430,369.55.
The Clerk gave the Building Report for the month of October, 1969.
City Attorney Buckley advised that Howard and Dona Fischer have started
a law suit asking for a temporary restraining order which would prohibit
the City of Muskego from issuing any building permits on the property
known as Parkland Plaza, Inc. area.
MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS
Ald. Narlock moved to set the Public Hearing date for amendments to
Chapters 12 and 17 of the Municipal Code for December 9, 1969, at
7:15 P.M. in the City Hall. Seconded by Ald. Wollman, motion carried.
ADJOURNMENT - Ald. Wollman moved to adjourn the meeting. Seconded by
Ald. Budish, motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 8:16 P.M.
