I--, PRESENT: Mayor Wieselmann, Robert Burgermeister, Edmund Budish, Harold DeBack, Frank Narlock, Lois Sapp, Emmett O'Connell and Walter Wollman. Also present were City Clerk Bette Bowyer and Attorney John P. Buckley. l APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Ald. Burgermeister moved to approve the minutes . x of the previous meeting held on October 14, 1969, as mailed. Seconded "- by Ald. Narlock, motion carried. COMMITTEE REPORTS Ald. Narlock pres~ented the report of the Finance Committee meetings held on October 15 and October 22,\1969, and moved that the reports be accepted and placed on file. Seconded by Ald. DeBack, motion carried. 0 Ald. DeBack presented the report of the Public Works Committee meeting held on October 23, 1969, and moved that the report be accep.ted and placed on file. Seconded by Ald. Budish. City:Clerk Bdwyer requested that the Public Works Committee and Council reconsider their decision to bill utility companies monthly for permits for street excavations. Following discussion, Ald. Budish stated that the minutes of the Public Works Committee meeting, held on October 23, 1969, would be corrected. The motion to accept the minutes carried. Ald. Burgemneister presented the report of the Public Welfare Committee meeting held on October 22, 1969, and moved that the report be accepted and placed on file. Seconded by Ald. Wollman, motion carried. Ald. Sapp pjesented the report of the Public Safety Committee meeting held on October 22, 1969, and moved that the report be accepted and placed on file. Seconded by Ald. Wollman, motion carried. The minute:; of the Plan Commission meeting held on October 21, 1969, were received and will be placed on file. UNFINISHED BUSINESS - None l NEW BUSINEQ Resolution #122-69 - The Clerk read Resolution #122-69, entitled, Recognizing Wisconsin Council of County and Municipal Employees as Exclusive Bargaining Agent for Police Dispatchers. Ald. Wollman moved for the adoption of Resolution 11122-69, secon@by Ald. Burgermeister and the motion carried upon a voice vote. Resolution f/123-69 -*~The Clerk read Resolution l/123-69, entitled, Reso.lutidn Recommending Change. of Supervisory District in City of Muskego. Ald. Warlock moved for the.adoption of Resolution #123-69. Seconded by Ald. DeBack. Motion carried.upon a voice vote. Resolution l&24-69 - The Clerk read Resolution i/124-69, entitled, Authorizing the Expenditure of Funds for the Completion of Crowbar Dr. l Reconstruction Project. Ald. Budish moved for the adoption of Resolution #124-69. Seconded by Ald. DeBack. Ald. Budish moved to amend Resolution f/124-69 by changing the amount in the last paragraph to $401.21. Seconded by Ald. Wollman. Upon a voice vote, the motion to amend Resolution Y/124-69 carried. IJpon a roll call vote, the motion to adopt Resolution 8124-69, As Amended, carried unanimously. Common Council meeting City of Muskego 10/28/69 Page 2. LICENSE APPROVAL - Ald. Budish moved for the approval of an Operator's License for Patrycia Wilson pending receipt of favorable Fingerprint and Medical Report. Seconded by Ald. Narlock. Upon a voice vote the motion carried. VOUCHER APPROVAL - Ald. Narlock moved for the approval of payment of vouchers as of October 28, 1969, in the amount of $87,850.34. Upon a roll call vote, the motion to pay the vouchers carried unanimously. CITY OFFICIAL'S REPORTS - None COMMUNICATIONS AND MISCELLANEOUS BUSINESS In accordance with Ordinance #155, An Ordinance to Amend Ordinance #127 Being Chapter 3.10 of the Municipal Code (Re: Sewer Service Charges), Ald. Budish moved that the sewer service charge for certain businesses be adjusted. Seconded by Ald. Sapp. Budish's motion carried. Upon a roll call vote, Alderman Ald. Narlock moved to grant an extension of time (30 days) on the rezoning petitions of Samuel S. Kupec and Les Abel properties. Seconded by Ald. Wollman. Upon a voice vote, the motion carried. Ald. Wollman moved to authorize the expenditure of $2,500.00 to be taken from the General Fund for the purpose of taking land options. Seconded by Ald.~ Burgermeister. Upon a roll call vote, Ald. Wollman's motion carried unanimously. Mayor Wieselmann announced that, due to ill health and business obligations, Mr. Mitch Rosinski has resigned from the Industrial Committee.and that Mr. Bernard Lindner has been appointed to succeed Mr. Rosinski on the Committee. Mr. Gerald Lee, Building Inspector for the City of Muskego and Mr. Herbert Ripley, Director of Environmental Health of the Waukesha County Health Department appeared at the meeting to explain the newly proposed Waukesha County Health Code Ordinance which will be acted upon by the County Board of Supervisors in the near future. Mayor Wieselmann reminded the aldermen of the Special Meeting to be held on October 30, 1969, at 7:30 P.M. at which time Mr. Seegar Swanson of Ehlers & Associates will present the Financial Report of the City of Muskego.
