ccm19690619COMMON COUNCIL CITY OF MUSKEGO MINUTES OF SPECIAL MEETING HELD JUNE 19, 1969 - CITY HALL l Mayor Wieselmann called the meeting to order at 7:40 P.M. PRESENT: Mayor Donald Wieselmann, Aldermen Edmund Budish, Robert e Burgermeister, Harold DeBack, Kenneth Cooley, Frank Narlock, Lois Sapp, Walter Wollman, Deputy Clerk June Elger, City Engineer Kelsen- berg and City Attorney John Buckley. Mayor Wieselmann advised the purpose of the Special Meeting Carl Wauer appeared at the meeting and submitted an Inspection Report from the State of Wisconsin. He advised that he is attempting to comply with all of the requests of the City and that he will be appearing before the Council periodically to advise them as to the status of the rendering plant and the City Dump. He answered various questions of some of the citizens of the surrounding area and further indicated that at this time he is investigating a company which claims it has a product which can free the dump of all odors. Resolution #85-69 - Authorizing the Finance Committee to Expend Monies e to Reproduce Symbolic Seal for the City of Muskego. Ald. Budish moved for suspension of the rules in order to present Resolution $185-69. Ald. Burgenneister seconded the motion. Upon a roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. Ald. Budish read Resolution i/85-69. Ald. Budish moved for the adoption of Resolution #85-69, seconded by Ald. Wollman. Upon a roll call vote, the motion carried unanimously. Ald. Budish reported that the Finance Committee has recommended that 250 seals @ 94c ea. be ordered. INDUSTRIAL PARK The Deputy Clerk read the communication from the Plan Commission, dated June 19, 1969, reconnnending the rezoning of 180 acres to I-l Industrial Park. Ald. Burgermeister was granted permission to question Mr. Raymond Wallner, sec'y. of Muskego Industrial Park, Inc. Aid. Burgermeister questioned Mr. Wallner extensively regarding his proposal of May 4, 1969 which requested that the City participate in the develop- ment of a 180 Acre Industrial Park consisting of the Pohlman-Loomis l Estate and the Harold DeBack Farm. Further discussion followed between Mayor Wieselmann, the Aldermen and Mr. Wallner. Ald. Cooley then moved to defer action on this matter until the next regular Council meeting that was to be held in five days and to request the City Engineer submit figures on a lo-acre industrial park at that time. Ald. Sapp seconded the motion and upon a roll call vote, the motion to defer action until the meeting of June 24, 1969 carried unanimously. Signed v CALL OF SPECIAL MEETING TO THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MUSKEGO Notice is hereby given that a special meeting of the Common Council of the City of Muskego is called to be held Thursday, June 19, 1969, at 7:30 P.M. in the City Hall for the purpose of discussing the Plan Commission recommendation regarding the Industrial Park and the setting of the Public Hearing date for the proposed rezoning. A discussion will also take place regarding the status of the City Dump and the Muskego Rendering Plant operation and any other business as may be deemed necessary will be‘ taken care of.
