MINUTES OF ADJOURNED MEETING HELD ON APRIL 24, 1969 - .9:00 P.M.
Mayor Wieselmann called the meeting to order at 9:04 P.M.
PRESENT - Mayor Donald Wieselmann, Aldermen Edmund Budish, Robert Burg-
ermeister, Kenneth Cooley, Harold DeBack, Frank Narlock, Lois Sapp and
Walter Wollman. Also present were City Clerk Bette Bowyer and City
Attorney John Buckley.
II) Continuation of Election Council Representative to Plan Commission.
On the 23rd thru the 27th Election Ballots, Ald. Narlock received 4
votes and Ald. Burgermeister received 3 votes.
Following discussion and the explanation of the proper procedure as
provided for by State Statutes by Attorney Buckley, Ald. Cooley requested
that the candidates explain their reasons for seeking a seat on the Plan
Commission. Ald. Narlock assured the Council that his service on the
Plan Commission in the past and in the future would never be for personal
interest but only in the interest of the City.
Ald. Burgenneister indicated the reasons why he felt why he was qualified
to serve on the ,Plan Commission. .
a At 9:20 P.M. Mayor Wieselmann declared a recess and at 9:32 P.M. the
meeting reconvened.
On the 28th Election Ballot Ald. Narlock received 5 votes and Ald.
Burgermeister received 2 votes. Ald. Narlock was elected to serve on
the Plan Commission as the representative of the Common Council.
Mayor Wieselmann invited the Aldermen to attend a joint meeting with
the New Berlin Common Council where Senator Devitt and Assemblyman
Shabaz will discuss the TARR Task Force recommendations to be held
in the New Berlin City Hall on Monday, April 28, 1969 at i':30 P.M.
Mayor Wieselmann reminded the Aldermen of the Joint meeting with the
Muskego School Board, the Plan Commission and the Common Council to
be held in the new Middle School on Wednesday, April 30, 1969 at 7~30 P.M.
Chief Kraus appeared at the meeting to review the specifications on
a
three new squad cars that will be advertised for in the near future.
Following discussion, Ald. Cooley moved that the City Clerk be authorized
to place the necessary advertisement for the three new squad cars. I
Seconded by Ald. Narlock. Upon a roll call vote, the motion carried
unanimously.
Ald. Budish moved to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Ald. Narlock.
Motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 9:55 P.M.
