COMMON COUNCIL Agenda - 5/9/2017 CITY OF MUSKEGO COMMON COUNCIL AGENDA May 9, 2017 7:00 PM Muskego City Hall, W182 S8200 Racine Avenue CALL TO ORDER PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE ROLL CALL STATEMENT OF PUBLIC NOTICE COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE MAYOR'S OFFICE Announcements PUBLIC COMMENT City Residents and Taxpayers Only – Speakers will be limited to making comments related to all agenda items excluding closed session items relating to employment and labor issues. Comments will be limited to three minutes per speaker per agenda item. There will be no discussion by/with the Common Council during Public Comment. CLOSED SESSION The Common Council of the City of Muskego will meet at approximately 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as time permits, on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 in the Muskego Room, City Hall, W182 S8200 Racine Avenue, Muskego, Wisconsin, following conclusion of consideration of the above portion of its regularly scheduled agenda, to vote on a motion to convene in closed session at said time and place for discussion/action relative to: Tax Incremental Finance District #10 Negotiations and Agreements - CGS Premier, Inc. and to take such further action as may be necessary and appropriate with respect to such matters. The Common Council will hold the closed session in the Muskego Room at City Hall. A closed session for the above purpose is authorized pursuant to the provisions of Wis. Stats. Section 19.85(1)(e), which authorizes a governmental body, upon motion duly made and carried, to meet in closed session to deliberate or negotiate the purchase of public properties and the investment of public funds, or conduct other specified public business whenever competitive or bargaining reasons require a closed session. Upon conclusion of the closed session, the Common Council will convene in open session to consider its public agenda, including motions to recommend approval or rejection of the above-listed deliberations or any of the public agenda items that have not been acted upon.
