COMMON COUNCIL Agenda 20060926 CITY OF MUSKEGO COMMON COUNCIL AGENDA DATE: SEPTEMBER 26, 2006 TIME: 7:30 PM REGULAR MEETING LOCATION: Muskego City Hall, Muskego Room W182 S8200 Racine Avenue, Muskego, Wisconsin CALL TO ORDER PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE ROLL CALL STATEMENT OF PUBLIC NOTICE NOTICE OF CLOSED SESSION Please take notice that following Communications and Miscellaneous Business as Authorized by Law, the Common Council will convene, upon passage of the proper motion, into closed session pursuant to: 1. Wis. Stats. §19.85(1)(c) Considering employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility, more specifically discussion regarding compensation for interim police chief and police chief. 2. Wis. Stats. §19.85(1)(c) Considering employment, promotion, compensation or performance evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has jurisdiction or exercises responsibility and Wis. Stats. §19.85(1)(e) Deliberating or negotiating the purchasing of public properties, the investing of public funds, or conducting other specified public business, whenever competitive or bargaining reasons require a closed session, more specifically concerning negotiations with AFSCME concerning creation of full-time bookkeeper position. Action may be taken in closed session. The Common Council will then reconvene into open session to continue with agenda items. COMMUNICATIONS FROM THE MAYOR’S OFFICE PUBLIC COMMENT City Residents and Taxpayers Only – limited to items under Consent, Resolutions and Ordinances on this agenda. Comments will be limited to two minutes per speaker. There will be no discussion by/with the Common Council during Public Comment. PUBLIC HEARING To consider petition of Kaestner-Kinart Properties LLC for an amendment to the 2010 Comprehensive Plan for property on Crowbar Drive known as Tax Key Numbers 2283.999.002 and 2283.999.001 from rural density residential to medium density residential for the purpose of a future land division. CONSENT AGENDA Items listed under consent agenda will be approved in one motion without discussion unless any Council member requests that an item be removed for individual discussion. That item then can be acted on separately at the same meeting under the part of the meeting it would normally appear.
