BOARD OF REVIEW
MINUTES OF MEETING HELD JUNE 11, 2008
Vice-Chairman Henry Posbrig called the meeting to order at 3:05 pm. Board of Review
members present: Henry Posbrig, Dawn Schiel, Steve Roncke, and Ray Ingold. City
Assessor Laura Mecha, Attorney Tim Antringa, Attorney Eric Larson, and Clerk-
Treasurer Janice Moyer were also present.
The Clerk-Treasurer stated that the agenda for the meeting was noticed in accordance
with the Open Meeting Law.
The following property owners had properly filed a Notice of Intent to File Objection and
Objection Form for Real Property Assessment. The Board of Review heard their
objections.
Kathy Johnstone, W207 S9122 Hillendale Drive, 2236998, testimony was heard on June
4, 2008. Deliberations proceeded.
Johnstone – Steve Roncke moved to sustain the Assessor’s valuation and to adopt the
Findings of Fact, Determination and Decision. Ray Ingold seconded; motion carried 4-0.
Testimony was heard on June 4, 2008. Deliberations on the objections proceeded.
Attorney Eric Larson drafted the Findings of Fact, Determination and Decision based on
the deliberations by the Board of Review. Attorney Larson will present the Findings of
Fact, Determination and Decision on June 30, 2008 for a final decision. All of the parties
stipulated on June 4, 2008, to hear the five cases together.

The Board took a brief recess until 5:37 p.m.
The Board of Review members present: Ray Ingold, Henry Posbrig, Lynda Guhr, Dawn
Schiel, and Dean Bartosh.
The Board of Review then proceeded to hear the following objections. All objectors,
witnesses, and assessors were sworn in before testifying:

appointments with the Board of Review. Their cases were not heard.
Shircel: Henry Posbrig moved to sustain the Assessor’s valuation and to adopt the
Findings of Fact, Determination and Decision. Dawn Schiel seconded; motion carried 5-
0.
Mickelson: Dean Bartosh moved to sustain the Assessor’s valuation and to adopt the
Findings of Fact, Determination and Decision. Henry Posbrig seconded; motion carried
5-0.
McCarthy: Henry Posbrig moved to sustain the Assessor’s valuation and to adopt the
Findings of Fact, Determination and Decision. Ray Ingold seconded; motion carried 5-0.
Maier: Dawn Schiel moved to sustain the Assessor’s valuation and to adopt the
Findings of Fact, Determination and Decision. Dean Bartosh seconded; motion carried
5-0.
Fohr: Dean Bartosh moved to sustain the Assessor’s valuation and to adopt the
Findings of Fact, Determination and Decision. Henry Posbrig seconded; motion carried
5-0.
Olson: Ray Ingold moved to sustain the Assessor’s valuation and to adopt the Findings
of Fact, Determination and Decision. Henry Posbrig seconded; motion carried 5-0.
The Notice of Board of Review Determination forms for the above objections will be
mailed by certified mail.
Dawn Schiel moved to adjourn to June 30, 2008 at 3:00 pm. Henry Posbrig seconded;
motion carried. The June 11, 2008 session of the Board of Review adjourned at 10:35
pm.
