BOARD OF REVIEW Minutes 20050719 BOARD OF REVIEW CITY OF MUSKEGO MINUTES OF MEETING HELD TUESDAY, JULY 19, 2005 The Board of Review of the City of Muskego was called to order by Vice Chairman Henry Posbrig at 6:10 PM. Also present were Board Members Dave Gosse, Bill Jasinski (arrived at 6:12 PM) and Charlotte Stewart, Atty. Eric Larson representing the Board, Assessor Laura Mecha, Mark Link of CLT, and Deputy Clerk Jill Blenski. The Board heard the following objections: Taj Jordan, S72 W17275 Schubring Drive Kenneth and Cheryl Fries, W175 S7229 Lake Drive Billy and Kay Hacker, W157 S7240 Quietwood Drive Roger Frycienski, W186 S6834 Jewel Crest Drive Fred and Kathleen Wehrhahn (represented by Atty. Cook), W148 S6490 Brookside Drive Dorothy and Carl Kidd, W180 S6590 Hardtke Drive Tia Thoreson (Kochiss), W180 S8272 Pioneer Drive Jack and Sandra Habrat, S106 W20213 North Shore Drive Rudolph Mishich, S75 W12637 Coventry Lane Board members Charlotte Stewart and Dave Gosse recused themselves from hearing the Thomas Christenson objection, S106 W20565 North Shore Lane. The Deputy Clerk was requested to contact Board member Lynda Guhr and Alternate Dawn Schiel to see if one of them could be present to hear the objection. Neither was available. The two remaining Board members Henry Posbrig and Bill Jasinski heard the objection. The Board deliberated all of the above objections with the exception of the Christenson case as follows: Jordan: Dave Gosse moved to sustain the Assessor’s value and to formally adopt the Findings of Fact, Determination and Decision. Charlotte Stewart seconded. Motion carried 4-0. Fries: Charlotte Stewart moved to sustain the Assessor’s value and to formally adopt the Findings of Fact, Determination and Decision. Dave Gosse seconded. Motion carried 4-0. Hacker: Bill Jasinski moved to sustain the Assessor’s value and to formally adopt the Findings of Fact, Determination and Decision. Charlotte Stewart seconded. Motion carried 4-0. Frycienski: Charlotte Stewart moved to include the assessor’s recommendation to set the assessment at $175,100 for land and $158,600 for improvements for a total of Board of Review Minutes Page 2 July 19, 2005 $333,700 and to formally adopt the Findings of Fact, Determination and Decision. Bill Jaskinski seconded. Motion carried 4-0. Wehrhahn: Bill Jasinski moved to sustain the Assessor’s value and to formally adopt the Findings of Fact, Determination and Decision. Dave Gosse seconded. Motion carried 4-0. Kidd: Charlotte Stewart moved to sustain the Assessor’s value and to formally adopt the Findings of Fact, Determination and Decision. Bill Jasinski seconded. Motion carried 4-0. Thoreson: Charlotte Stewart moved to sustain the Assessor’s value and to formally adopt the Findings of Fact, Determination and Decision. Bill Jasinski seconded. Motion carried 4-0. Habrat: Charlotte Stewart moved to sustain the Assessor’s value and to formally adopt the Findings of Fact, Determination and Decision. Dave Gosse seconded. Motion carried 4-0. Mishich: Charlotte Stewart moved to sustain the Assessor’s value and to formally adopt the Findings of Fact, Determination and Decision. Bill Jasinski seconded. Motion carried 4-0. The Deputy Clerk was directed to mail the Notice of Determination forms by certified mail. At 11:17 PM, Charlotte Stewart moved to adjourn to Wednesday, July 20, 2005 at 6:00 PM. Bill Jasinski seconded; motion carried.
