Blenski at 5:00 PM. Also present were Board Members Lynda Guhr, Henry Posbrig, Dave Gosse
and Charlotte Stewart and Assessor Laura Mecha.
Those present recited the Pledge of Allegiance. The Clerk stated the meeting was noticed in
accordance with the open meeting law. Ms. Blenski stated that all Board members present attended
a training program within the last two years and the required affidavit was filed with the Wisconsin
Department of Revenue
Charlotte Stewart nominated Lynda Guhr as Chairman and Henry Posbrig as Vice Chairman. Dave
Gosse seconded. There were no other nominations. Motion carried. Lynda Guhr was elected
Chairman and Henry Posbrig Vice Chairman.
The assessment roll and sworn statements from the Clerk were received by the Board.
Assessor Mecha distributed a summary of assessment for the Board to review. She reported the
assessed value for all general property (excluding manufacturing) was $1,623,593,760. This is an
increase of $47,348,400 from last year and represents a 3% growth factor. The City will be at 82%
to value and it is anticipated a full revaluation will be done in 2005.
The Clerk stated that no objections had been filed with her office. The Board determined that it did
not need to establish procedures of operation at this time as no objections were filed.
At this time the Board went off the record and reviewed the assessment roll and performed statutory
duties.
At 7:00 PM, the Board resumed on the record.
Ms. Stewart moved that the Board of Review hereby approves the 2004 assessment roll as
presented by the City Assessor; and, having performed all of its statutory duties and completed all of
its work that came before the Board, the Board of Review adjourns sine die, subject to the Clerk
fulfilling the Clerk’s statutory duties. Mr. Posbrig seconded; motion carried. Meeting adjourned at
7:04 PM.
