City of Muskego Police & Fire Commission Meeting
Minutes
October 18, 2007
The meeting of the City of Muskego Police & Fire Commission was held on Thursday,
October 18, 2007 in the conference room of the City of Muskego Police Department.
The meeting was called to order at 7:00PM.
Pledge of Allegiance
Roll call was taken with Commissioners Kuwitzky, Gleason, Treba, Sindic, and Mooney
present.
Statement of Public Notice was given to the press and posted on Friday, October 12,
2007. Commissioner Treba made a motion to approve the agenda items and
Commissioner Sindic seconded. Motion carried unanimously.
Commissioner Treba made a motion to accept the minutes from the July 19, 2007
meeting. Commissioner Sindic seconded and motion carried unanimously.
REPORT FROM THE POLICE DEPARTMENT:
Captain Moser is attending the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia. He
will be returning to work on December 18, 2007.
Lt. James Kaebisch is attending Northwestern Center for Public Safety’s School
of Police Staff and Command for 10 weeks.
Officer Angela Beck successfully completed probation on October 4, 2007.
Captain La Tour explained where the Department is in the 2008 Budget process.
The Department is attempting to add 2 additional Sergeant positions in an effort
to increase accountability and decrease the potential liability risk in the areas of
Failure to Train and/or Failure to Supervise.
Also a Detective position is being asked for to help with the ever increasing
caseload in the Detective Bureau.

NEW BUSINESS:
Election of Officers – Commissioner Treba made a motion for Commissioner
Gleason for the position of President. Commissioner Sindic seconded and motion
carried unanimously.
Commissioner Sindic made a motion for Commissioner Kuwitzky for the position
of Secretary. Motion carried unanimously.

The next meeting will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2008.
Commissioner Gleason moved for the meeting to be adjourned. Commissioner Kuwitzky
seconded, motion carried unanimously. The meeting was adjourned at 7:40PM.
