CITY OF MUSKEGO POLICE & FIRE COMMISSION MEETING
Monday November 28, 2011
A special meeting of the Muskego Police # fire Commission was held on Monday, November 28th, 2011
in the conference room of the City of Muskego Police Department. Commissioner Gleason called the
meeting to order at 7:00PM.
Pledge of Allegiance
Roll call was taken with Commissioners Gleason, Treba, Sindic, Kuwitzky and Mooney present.
Statement of Public Notice was given to the press and posted on Wednesday, November 23, 2011.
Commissioner Kuwitzky made a motion to approve the agenda items and Commissioner Sindic
seconded. Motion carried unanimously.
Commissioner Mooney made a motion to accept the minutes of the October 20, 2011 meeting.
Commissioner Kuwitzky seconded and motion carried unanimously.
REPORT FROM THE POLICE DEPARTMENT:
Detective Fandre is being promoted to the position of sergeant. Commissioner Mooney made a
motion to accept and Commissioner Kuwitzky seconded. Motion carried.
Oral interviews for the position of detective will begin shortly.
Sgt. John Mesich retired on a medical disability November 28, 2011.
OLD BUSINESS:
Nothing
NEW BUSINESS:
The commission held a discussion reference the hiring process. One more police officer position
needs to be filled. They decided to continue with the present eligibility list and interview several more
candidates. They set the date for the interviews to be Saturday, December 10, 2011.
COMMUNICATIONS AND OTHER MATTERS AS AUTHORIZED BY LAW:
Nothing
The next regular meeting will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2012.
Commissioner Kuwitzky made a motion to adjourn and Commissioner Sindic seconded and motion
carried unanimously. The meeting was adjourned at 7:55PM.
