pfcm20111020CITY OFMUSKEGO POLICE & FIRE COMMISSION October 20, 2011 The meeting of the City of Muskego Police & Fire Commission was held on Thursday, October 20, 2011 in the conference room of the City of Muskego Police Department. Commissioner Gleason called the meeting to order at 7:00PM. Pledge of Allegiance Roll call was taken with Commissioners Gleason, Treba, Sindic, Kuwitzky and Mooney present. The Statement of Public Notice was given to the press and posted on Friday, October 14, 2011. Commissioner Mooney made a motion to accept the agenda items and Commissioner Kuwitzky seconded and motion carried. Commissioner Mooney made a motion to accept the minutes of the July 28, 2011 meeting. Commissioner Kuwitzky seconded and motion carried unanimously. Report From the Police Department:  Chief Geiszler stated an officer was hired a few weeks ago and is working out well.  The department has another officer starting in a few weeks ago and is working out well.  Sgt. Mesich will be retiring (medical disability) the last week of November. The department has started the promotion process for his sergeant position.  A lieutenant is out for approximately four to six months with a shoulder injury.  The CRO position will not be filled until the department is at full staff.  Old Business: Nothing New Business: The commission held their annual election and Commissioner Treba made a motion for Commissioner Gleason to continue as president. Commissioner Sindic seconded and motion carried unanimously. Commissioner Mooney made a motion for Commissioner Kuwitzky to continue as secretary and Commissioner Sindic seconded. Motion carried unanimously. Communications and Other Matters As Authorized By Law: Nothing The date of the next meeting will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2012. Commissioner Mooney made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Commissioner Kuwitzky seconded and motion carried with the meeting adjourning at 7:35PM.
