The meeting of the City of Muskego Police & Fire Commission was held on Thursday, July 28, 2011 in the
conference room of the City of Muskego Police Department. Commissioner Gleason called the meeting
to order at 7:00PM.
Pledge of Allegiance
Roll call was taken with Commissioners Gleason, Kuwitzky, and Mooney present. Commissioners Treba
and Sindic were absent.
The Statement of Public Notice was given to the press and posted on Monday, July 25, 2011.
Commissioner Kuwitzky made a motion to accept the agenda items and Commissioner Mooney
seconded. Motion carried.
Commissioner Mooney made a motion to accept the minutes of the April 9, 2011 meeting.
Commissioner Kuwitzky seconded and motion carried.
Report From The Police Department:
Chief Geiszler stated the new police officer hired in May of this year has resigned. Background
checks are being done on the next two candidates on the list.
Officer Esser retired after 25 years of service.
The department is short ten officers, some on short term medical and others for long term.
Chief Geiszler explained the detectives and school resource officers are filling in patrol.

With only three commissioners in attendance, election of officers will be deferred until the
October 20th meeting. Commissioner Kuwitzky made the motion and Commissioner Mooney seconded
with the motion carrying.
Communications And Other Matters As Authorized By Law:
Nothing
The next meeting will be held on Thursday, October 12, 2011.
Commissioner Mooney made the motion to adjourn. Commissioner Kuwitzky seconded and the
meeting was adjourned at 7:40PM.
