PFC10252012 MINUTES CITY OF MUSKEGO POLICE & FIRE COMMISSION October 25, 2012 The regular meeting of the Muskego Police & Fire Commission was held on Thursday, October 25, 2012, in the conference room of the City of Muskego Police Department. Commissioner Gleason called the meeting to order at 7:05PM. Pledge of Allegiance Roll call was taken with Commissioners Gleason, Treba, Sindic, Kuwitzky, and Mooney present. Statement of Public Notice was given to the press and posed on Thursday, October 18, 2012. Commissioner Mooney made a motion to approve the agenda items and Commissioner Kuwitzky seconded. Motion carried unanimously. Commissioner Kuwitzky made a motion to accept the minutes from the July 19, 2012 meeting. Commissioner Mooney seconded and motion carried unanimously. REPORT FROM THE POLICE DEPARTMENT:  Chief explained our department sent three squads to the Sunday shooting in Brookfield. The officers helped with securing the perimeter.  The department is having a problem with filling the last clerical position. Interviews will continue.  Officer Raiche will be finished with field training shortly and is doing an excellent job.  The last officer hired has resigned and the hiring process will continue using the current eligibility list.  Chief Geiszler announced he is retiring at the end of this year. OLD BUSINESS: Nothing NEW BUSINESS: Election of officers was held with Commissioner Treba nominating Commissioner Gleason. Commissioner Sindic seconded and motion carried unanimously. Commissioner Mooney nominated Commissioner Kuwitzky for secretary. Commissioner Sindic seconded and motion carried unanimously. COMMUNICATIONS AND OTHER MATTERS AS AUTHORIZED BY LAW: Nothing The next regular meeting will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at 7:00PM. Commissioner Mooney made a motion to adjourn and Commissioner Kuwitzky seconded. Motion carried unanimously and the meeting was adjourned at 7:45PM.
